Fiona's POV

“Fiona, you will take the elite forces, and welcome the Rogue King—we will be joining you soon.”

My mother said, and just like that I was forced to go outside to welcome this rogue king.

Cars lined the gate entrance, and my heart started pounding when the doors opened.

Men dressed in black suits flanked both sides. I swallowed.

People always said rogues lived like animals, and a few that crossed past the borders were made as slaves.

A figure emerged, sharp. Clean and awfully familiar.

He caught the light, making it incredibly hard to see his face, but the more he was impossibly hard to ignore or deny.

Moon goddess, please. Not him.

It was—sadly.

That rogue I spent the night with.

Now he looked even more arrogant, wearing a long dark coat, leaving his chest open.

I gulped, feeling the air around me turning hot.

Welcome…. He walked past the people sent to welcome him and came in front of me.

Fifi was moving with unrestrained excitement, but my heart was pounding hard against my ears.

In front of everyone, he leaned to reach my ears.

“We meet again, little wolf—” his nose grazed the curve of my neck. It made the hairs lift with effect.

I locked my throat as he took a long sniff of my scent.

Then he rumbled a growl. “You carry my scent—you must like the gift I left.”

Jolting back, I lowered my head, extending my greetings.

“Greetings, Rogue King—what brings you here to Nightshade?”

“You.”

I peeled my gaze up to see him, hands in his coat pocket, revealing his exposed chest. Claw marks from last night—my claw marks still plastered red on his skin.

Oh moon goddess.

The people around me were already starting to whisper.

He smirked and started moving like he was admiring the place.

“I’ve heard rumors that the oldest daughter of the Nightshade pack is a sight to behold.” His gaze found mine; blush crept from my neck as he smirked. “Indeed.”

The footsteps from behind me forced me to look away.

It was my parents. They only dared to show their faces when there was no threat.

“Oh, you must be the Rogue King…” my father started, taking measured steps forward.

“No need to act buttery. We are still enemies,” he said.

Silence filled the air.

As if my sins couldn’t get any worse. He wasn’t just any rogue, but the legendary Rogue that lived for years. He’s hunted and killed us for years, but why can’t I take my eyes off him?

Or stop myself from noticing how good his earrings elevated his appearance.

This was bad—really bad.

For a sin like this—I could be executed because rogues are forbidden.

He lifted his lips when my father asked why he was here in Nightshade.

And his words were simple. A peace treaty.

But I didn’t believe that. This war had been on for generations, and he decided to call a truce now?

“Okay, your majesty. My pack and I will see to it that your stay here will be nothing short of pleasure.”

“He’s staying here?” I snapped a little too loud; everyone turned to look at me.

“Is there a problem, my lady?” he said, and towered back to me.

“No…” my voice came out small.

His malicious grin stole another breath as he leaned in. Then mouthed, “I don’t bite.”

I peeled my gaze from my father to see that he was staring at us with suspicion. Instantly, I put a distance between us.

“Your Majesty,” my father called to him, but this rogue didn’t take his eyes off me. And it made sweat lace underneath my arm, soaking my shirt.

“Call me Lord Isaiah.”

It felt like he was speaking to me.

“Lord Isaiah,” a servant gestured that it was time to leave.

He only arched a brow and the servant took a hesitant step backward.

He turned to my father. “Alpha Marcus,”

“Isaiah's gaze swept over the estate before settling on me.

“Your eldest daughter will accompany me.”

My father's expression tightened. “Fiona has wedding preparations—”

“Then consider this part of her duties.” His voice remained calm. “Unless you would rather I believe the Nightshade Pack cannot spare a few hours for its honored guest.”

My father’s face turned pale; he stared at my mother who had been silently watching us. She shook her head, but he chuckled. The kind of chuckle that was merely out of formality.

My father’s eyes narrowed forward, and it seemed as though he was going to protest.

In a situation like this, if the rogue king snapped and changed his mind the people would suffer. If he was really here for a truce then the war would be over.

“Dad, don’t worry. I’ll handle it.”

The tension didn’t disperse from the air, even after I said. And Lord Isaiah seemed to be having the time of his life, tormenting me. Because this was the only explanation for this.

“Is there a problem?” His eyes, still on me.

“When did you last eat?”

I blinked. “What?”

His gaze dropped briefly to my waist before returning to my face.

“I asked when you last ate.”

“This…”my throat cleared. His expression darkened. “Morning.”

“And don't look at me like that.”

“Like what?”

“Like I'm dying.”

His jaw tightened. “You're too thin.”

I stared at him.

No one had ever noticed.

“It's none of your business.”

“Are you going to pretend we don’t know each other?”

My grip tightened, feet slowed. Then stopped.

I bumped into his chest. Then he grabbed my waist and forced me closer.

His hard bulge pressed against my ass, and I closed my thighs.

“Stop this…”

I thrashed.

He moved, forced me against the wall, pinned me with his body.

“Please….” I begged softly.

“Shhhh.” He whispered, one hand pushed my hair from my face, moved it past my shoulder.

“I told you not to provoke me yesterday.” His tongue flicked, trailed the bone of my neck.

“Stop…please. If they see…”

“Let them.” He growled, mouth closed around my ear. “Didn’t you want this…you begged for this last night. Or have you forgotten?”

“No…stop. Last night…” I panted, shutting my eyes.

If anyone saw me like this, I'd be dead.

“Last night was a mistake. I shouldn’t have done that…”

His teeth bit my skin. I flinched.

“I don’t care.” He whispered.

“I’m promised to another. If they find out…”

He thrust his hips forward; a dark chuckle burned through the heat.

His fingers brushed the mark on my neck.

“You have no idea what you are,  don't you little wolf.”

“What does that mean?”

He leaned closer, his lips almost touching my ear.

“You'll find out soon enough.”

  • Fated To The Rogue King   Chapter 21: Wrong Bride

Fiona’s POVIn the end, I had to follow my evil sister to pick out her dress. She held onto my hand like she was the sweet younger sister. As we moved through the bridal shop—the top one in the Nightshade Pack—the head seamstress's eyes shone with light the moment she saw us.Or rather, me.“This was supposed to be your fitting. My goodness, Fiona. I was worried when no one came to pick up the dress.”“I'm so sorry about that, Mira. There was a bit of a situation. I responded. “It’s alright. Once you do your final fitting, then if there are any adjustments we can…”“You mean the dress for my wedding?” Ivanna asked.Mira, the head seamstress, mouth fell open. “You mean…”“My sister…”Ivanna didn’t even let me finish before she said, “My sister is not getting married. I am.”Mira looked confused, and I felt bad for not informing her of the changes. But everything was messed up and had happened so suddenly. It was hard for me to even find the time.“Mira, please. Just… everything that

  • Fated To The Rogue King   Chapter 20: I’ll Reject You

Fiona’s POVWhat should I tell her? That I was with the Rogue King who ate me up like it was his last meal? Her harsh grip yanked me closer, fury thick in her brows as they squinted. Her nose sniffed as though she could pick up a scent. My heart nearly dropped.“What is this scent on you, Fiona?!”“What… what scent?”Playing clueless was the best approach until I knew what to say.“Don’t you dare lie to me. Your scent is different. Where have you been?”Quick footsteps padded across the floor. A maid rushed in and gave a quick bow. “Luna, the Rogue King is asking for you and the Alpha. To discuss the terms of the peace treaty.”Her face loosened, and so did her grip. I kept my face straight as I tried to keep my cool. She gave me a feral look, and then she turned. “This isn’t over.”Then she left. Even when she was gone, my body still rippled with the thickness of her energy.“Fiona, how could you anger Mother like this?” Ivanna said softly, her body still glued to Kale’s.My eyes rol

  • Fated To The Rogue King   Chapter 19: Don't You Dare Touch Me

Fiona’s POV “Your scent…” He takes another long sniff, inhaling deeply. “I can never get used to it.” His tongue flicked. “Or get enough of it.” Fifi’s claws snatched out, leaving marks on the table as I shut my eyes. “Make sure you eat. I don’t want you to black out on me again. This time, I might not be polite.” A flush moved up against my cheeks. With shaking hands, I continued to eat. His tongue at first flicked my soaked folds through the panties. I jerked into his mouth. He pressed his face even closer. “Fuck… this smells like heaven.” His hand finally tugged my panties down. “Move your hips, pup.” I did. Once the only barrier between us was gone, he slid one of my legs onto his shoulder. He looked up at me, keeping those enchanting blue eyes locked on mine as his mouth found my wetness—slick and dripping. He swallowed, hummed as his tongue swirled and circled all at once. My back arched off the seat. He didn’t stop even when my chest began to shake, my body burning hot

  • Fated To The Rogue King   Chapter 18: My Good Little Wolf

Fiona’s POV“I used to be… fat.” The word tasted like salt draped in vinegar. When I said those words, I expected his countenance to change. It should have.Instead, his brows knitted with confusion, the silence growing thick between us.His hand moved to scratch the space between his brows. “And?”“And? You don’t get it. My wolf has a large appetite. Once she starts eating, she won’t be able to stop, and my body retains everything—then I’ll be overweight.”He shook his head, amusement dancing on his lips. He plucked another berry and started munching on it.“Let me guess… did your mother tell you that?”“She did. But it’s true.” My hands coiled together on my lap. “If you saw me a few years back, you wouldn’t find me attractive. At least no one did then.”His lips parted as he forced a laugh back down. “You think I find you attractive?”My head snapped up instantly.“Don’t you?”“Attractive?” he repeated, munching carefully like he was trying to weigh the words.“So let me understan

  • Fated To The Rogue King   Chapter 17: Insufferable Rogue

Fiona’s POVAs though fraternizing with the enemy was not enough, I had somehow made my way into the rogue territory?“It’s not the rogue territory,” he said, guiding me inside. A sigh of relief settled in my throat just a moment before I released it.“But you just said that it was your place.”He nodded. The doors slid open automatically. The cool hum of the air conditioning made my skin prickle. I expected to see people in seats, talking… laughing. Servers moving. But there was nothing.“Why is it—”“Empty?” he asked. When I didn’t say anything after that, he chuckled, one hand calmly at the small of my back, guiding me past the empty tables.“I bought it the moment I came to the Nightshade Pack.”How long has the Rogue king been in our pack, and why was he here in the first place? I had a feeling the reason he came was not the so-called peace treaty he always claimed. Regardless, we're still in the Nightshade Pack. Good. This was good news.Another sigh followed.“So why are we h

  • Fated To The Rogue King   Chapter 16: I Should Be Scared

Fiona’s POV“Are you scared?”His voice came to me, but his mouth wasn’t moving. He tightened his hand around my waist.“How are you doing that?”“What do you think would happen if I lowered the windows?” He leaned closer to my ear, and his tongue flicked against it. A hiss followed from my lips.“Everyone will know you’re fraternizing with the enemy.”“You’re threatening me.”“No. stating facts…”“Why are you doing this?”“If I say I don’t know, pup, would you believe me?”Of course I wasn’t going to.Everyone had a reason whenever they did something. How could he be different. The knock came again, sharper more persistent. my eyes drifted towards the sound, but he forced my gaze back on him.“Keep your eyes on me, pup. Don’t worry, your mate won’t see us.”His words should have brought a certain amount of relief. However, they didn’t.Not even in the slightest. He could still see us, and this was already dangerous.Or my scent… what if Beta Magnus caught it?“For your question… wha
