"What an incredible location this is!"

"Given the price that I paid for it, it certainly ought to be." He leaned in and gave the tip of her nose a kiss. "Would you like to see the rest?"

“Sure.”

After helping her to her feet, he guided her into a room that had dark wood paneling on the walls. The floor was covered with a forest-green carpet, and the one window in the room had matching drapes hanging on it. On either side of the window, there was a pair of bookcases that reached all the way up to the ceiling. Figurines made of brass depicting mounted knights, dragons, and other creatures might be found strewn around the shelves of books. In the far corner, there was a life-size wooden Sudanese replete with a warbonnet and a lance. The space was dominated by a big desk that only accommodated a single laptop computer. She took notice of the mini refrigerator in white that was situated next to the desk. There is no need to inquire as to the purpose of that.
