Giving breast milk?

"Why?"

Clarita just shook her head quickly in response to Atma's question; her tongue felt numb, and she didn't even realize that she had been holding her breath. "Breathe; you don't want your child to grow up without a mother, right?"

Clarita wanted to curse when she heard Atma's words, but for some reason her tongue seemed reluctant to function properly; even her intelligent brain was unable to work properly.

"Why can I give birth?" Clarita asked innocently.

"Because you're pregnant." Atma answered casually. He didn't even take his eyes off the view behind the hospital window.

Clarita rolled her eyes lazily. “Tsk. Older grandmothers know that too. How can anyone give birth without being pregnant? I mean, why now?”

“Because not later.”

Once again, Atma's answer succeeded in making Clarita chuckle in annoyance. She remembers very well that this afternoon she was still going around, visiting one by one the companies that were opening vacancies.

But just as she was about to return to her boarding house, she stopped in the middle of the road and said, "You hit me."

Clarita's accusation managed to make Atma turn and look at her with an eyebrow raised.

At that moment, the door to Clarita's room opened to reveal two nurses pushing a baby gurney closer to Clarita. Clarita and Atma's eyes shifted to two adorable babies.

"Please give your first breast milk, ma'am," said the nurse to Clarita.

“This is your first baby, ma'am. He's a man." The nurse's gentle hands handed one of the babies onto Clarita's bed.

“Has it been given a name? If so, we will help with the deed," asked another nurse.

Clarita looked silent; she didn't know what to say because she had never thought about preparing a name for her baby. “Em, so and so... that."

"Later. I'll take care of the deed myself," said Atma as if he understood Clarita's situation.

"Okay, then if you'll excuse me, sir, ma'am." The two nurses left Clarita's room.

Clarita and Atma were left alone in the silence of the room; no one made the slightest sound; only the ticking of the clock's hands filled the room. Even Clarita's two babies were sleeping soundly, as if they understood the situation that was happening.

"I will go out." Clarita didn't answer the words of the man in front of her; she just kept quiet and looked away.

Clarita still can't believe what is happening now. How could she give birth? Why was she with that man? Clarita's thoughts were distracted by her baby's small movements. She gently rubbed the baby's head and patted her back. Clarita's eyes kept staring at the face of her baby, who still doesn't have a name.

Hazel's eyes, sharp nose, and thin lips make her baby boy look so perfect. While he was busy observing his baby boy's face, he heard a soft cry from beside his bed. Soft cries that became more and more like screams.

Clarita tried to reach the princess's gurney with great difficulty. He even forgot that the stitches on his stomach had not dried completely. She kept forcing herself to reach for the gurney until she accidentally dropped the glass, making the princess's cries get louder. Not only the princess, but now the baby in her arms was also crying because she was shocked.

The door to Clarita's room opened wide and revealed Atma, who was looking at her in panic, but as quickly as lightning, the man with the pompadour haircut and expression returned to neutrality. Without many words, Atma walked over to Clarita's bed. He turned his head for a moment, then tried to reach the baby girl, who was still crying faithfully.

"Shhh, shhhh," whispered Atma as he gently rubbed the back of the newborn baby. Unexpectedly, her crying subsided within seconds.

Likewise, with the cry of the baby boy in Clarita's arms, as if meeting the Tamer, both of them calmed down again. Clarita frowned in confusion. "Is it true?" he asked himself.

Not only Clarita, but Atma himself is confused about the current situation. So far, he has never succeeded in calming the baby, let alone calming the baby. Even small children saw it and cried in fear. And now, Atma is like a calming angel.

Clarita continued to look at Atma worriedly; so far, she had never tried 100% to find out who the father of the child she was carrying was. An irresponsible man who easily overpowered her until she had to live a life full of suffering.

Atma, who felt watched, turned his head; their eyes collided and locked with each other. Atma seemed to know the blind, as did Clarita, but the woman chose to break her gaze first. She didn't want to be swept away by the charm of a man she had just met; oh no, Clarita didn't know him in person.

"I'm Atma," he said coldly, the man's sharp eyes still fixedly trained on Clarita, who was averting her gaze to look at her baby.

"Clarita," said Clarita, no less cold.

Since what happened that night, Clarita has built a cold wall for the men. She felt that if all men were the same, after getting what she wanted, they would just dump her. Moreover, from the news that Clarita heard, the man who gave her the stimulant drug was someone she really trusted. The figure who had been his protector However, she made a mistake and ended up with all the tragedies in her life.

After this brief introduction, the two of them fell silent again. Atma chose to sit on the available sofa, while Clarita chose to give breast milk to her baby, with blue curtains as a barrier between Atma and Clarita.

Clarita wanted to give breast milk to her baby daughter, but she had difficulty reaching it. He considered what he should do: try to get up or ask Atma for help? Her sense of pride was so great that she decided to try to grab the gurney with all his might.

"God created a mouth to speak," said Atma coldly as he walked closer to Clarita.

"And God created hands to work alone," replied Clarita, no less coldly.

“Tch.” Atma lifted the tiny female body and handed it to Clarita, then he grabbed the hero, who was sleeping with a very calm face. At a glance, he seemed to recognize the outline of the baby's face. He looked at and admired that calm face. "Surely his father is handsome, but why doesn't he appear?" Atma whispered in his heart. He was still in his right mind not to ask such sensitive questions, especially since he and Clarita didn't have any closeness to share life's problems with each other.

"You want to see me give breast milk?" Clarita's sarcasm made Atma wake up and rush away from Clarita's bed.

Atma landed back on the soft sofa in the corner of the room, his mind busy thinking about what excuse he would give if his father interrogated him later. Today he was supposed to be fitting clothes for his engagement event. But what happened was that he was trapped by a woman who gave birth without a husband present. He could just walk away and act like he didn't know anything. But for some reason, his heart was reluctant to leave Clarita and her two children. Even though all this time he never wanted to be around small children,

If Atma is busy thinking about reasons for his father, then, in contrast to Clarita, the woman who has just become a mother is thinking about how to raise her baby. She doesn't have a job, and now she has to support two children alone, without a husband, and without a family.

The sound of soft crying made Atma's forehead frown in confusion. He stepped towards Clarita's bed for a moment after considering several possibilities. Atma's strong arms parted the blue curtain that was a barrier between him and Clarita.

His eyes widened perfectly when he saw what was presented in front of him. "You?"
