I was looking at my parents from outside the room. Mommy is inside the ICU but dad is still unconscious.
Napabuntong-hininga na lang ako. I know that dad has a condition but I didn't think that it was this bad. I could barely handle my problems with my marriage and then another one added on my plate.
I sat on one of the benches outside the ICU and just stared at my parents. My mom... looked so devastated. He was staring at my father with her eyes full of love and care. I admired how they love each other until now. I mean, they had the same fortune as me but we ended up very differently. Looking at them right now... It saddens me. How they look at each other, how they care for each other... I just don't think that I can ever find that kind of love.
