"What about the kids?" I asked, hoping that the thought of it would somehow stop him from filing a divorce.
"Nothing will change, I will still be the father of our children. The only difference is that I'll be their father, but not your husband," he said and I swallowed a lump in my throat, trying so hard to keep my tears from escaping my eyes. Hearing him say all of this... God, it hurts. Hearing the man I love say all of this... It was shattering my heart, slowly... painfully.
