Chapter 8

Greenhills Location

Time: 1 P.M

"How is it?" Malamig na tanong ng isang matanda na nasa pitongpung taong gulang at kaharap nito ang isang lalaking nakaluhod. He felt disappointed because there's no lead for everything. Everything was messed up, and he's aware that all people surrounded by him is not loyal to him.

Fuck that Red-In-A01 Organization! Fuck him to destroyed everything two years ago!

He frustratingly shouted in his mind. Yes, you read it right. There's another Organization. And they are willing to defeat the Peur Organization. Red-In-A01 Organization became silent after what they did two years ago. The mastermind of the new organization was still unknown until now and that makes him mad. He gets what he wants and he won't let someone destroy it. I will take back what is mine— by hook or by crook. He said and promised himself.

"Ready everything. We will planned this out. I will not let them win. Magkamatayan man o magkagulo man ulit sa Ottawa City," he coldly informed the guy who's still kneeling in front of him. The guy just bowed his head and obey what he said.

"You will pay for this, Nathalie..." He whispered that only the wind can hear.

Nisha's Point of View

Two days passed after we went in Greenhills. Hanggang ngayon ay inaalala ko pa iyon. I stayed in my room for remaining days left before the class start. About those people who went missing still bothered me and I forgot to ask Shawn about it. Two days na rin na hindi ko nakikita si Shawn. Maybe, he's having his mission and I don't want to interrupt just to disturbed him. Pagkatapos naming pumunta sa Greenhills ay pagdating ko sa dorm ay tinanong ako ni Nathalie.

"Where have you been?" Pambubungad niya sa akin nang makita niya akong papasok sa silid at kakalabas niya lang sa silid niya. I sighed. I stand straight and stared at her.

"Outside," I replied.

Nathalie looked at me from head to toe and it stopped on my muddy shoes. Oh no! May ideya na siya kung saan kami pumunta. Wala naman kasing putikan dito sa Ottawa Green kaya paanong magkaputik ang aking sapatos. After staring my shoes, she flew her eyes again on my face.

"Pumunta kayong Greenhills?" She asked and her voice was suspecting. I swallowed hard and acted naturally. I feel nervous without any reasons. I nodded as an answered and bowed my head. Shawn told me that she won't be mad, and I was hoping that she let this pass. Nang wala akong makuhang sagot sa kaniya ay tinaas ko ang aking ulo galing sa pagyuko at nakita ko pa ang titig niya ng mariin. She sighed and nodded also.

"Just be careful. I know Shawn can protect you. Kumain ka na. Nakapagluto na ako roon sa kusina," she said and walked away. Sinundan ko lang siya ng tingin at nagtungo siya sa sofa at doon ay umupo at binuksan ang TV. I sighed in relief. I could do nothing but enter the room to take a shower and get dressed.

I came back to my senses because of the loud knocks. Nathalie again. I have no choice but to get up and reach the door to open it. Nathalie's face lit up as I opened the door. She raised an eyebrow at me.

"Don't you have any plans to go out there?

Try to get out. You may die in your infirmity there," panenermon niya sa akin bago tumalikod at naiwan akong nakatanga. What was that? She will just disturbed me because of that? I messed my hair because of annoyance. Wala akong nagawa kundi ang sumunod sa kaniya. I saw her towards the table. I checked my wristwatch and it's 10:15 in the morning.

"Sit down. I prepared snacks," she commanded and smiled at me. I just shrugged and do what she says. Para akong may kasamang ina na lahat ng galaw mo ay binabantayan niya. Nathalie is not bad after all. I'm with her in this dorm, and even though she's busy, she still didn't failed to take good care of me. Pareho lang sila ni Shawn pero hinayaan ko na lang din sila.

I started eating the sandwich and lasagna placed on my plate. Nathalie also ate quietly and just ignored me. This is also what I adore with her, she's good in cooking and for everything. Nang matapos ako ay sumandal ako sa aking upuan at hinimas ang aking tiyan. Nang makita kong tapos na rin si Nathalie ay nilinis na niya ang mesa. She didn't complain anything about taking good care of me. When I ask her, she will just answered— The class is about to start. So, you have no choice but to bear that I am your oh-so-pretending-mother.

"Anyways, I want to go outside," I started. Lumingon naman siya sa akin at ngumiti.

"Do you want me to go with you?" She asked but I just shook my head.

"No need. I just need some fresh air. Hindi naman ako magtatagal," I replied and I just got a nod from her. Nang may naalala ako ay hindi agad ako nagdalawang-isip na itanong ito. Hindi naman siguro masama lalo na't maayos kausap si Nathalie kahit may pagka-mataray ito.

"Where are they? Even your boyfriend?" I asked while looking at her and her attention was on the plate that she's washing.

"They are in mission. I need rest today, so I let Shawn do the other missions that I have. He's in the East Building. Rebecca was with her sister, Christopher was in the Peur Organization and Dylan was digging some information related to those people who went missing," nang dahil sa pahayag niya ay nakuha niya ang interes ko.

"Oo nga pala, how is it? Are they found?" I asked and there's hope in my voice. Nakita kong nagpunas siya ng kaniyang kamay at naglakad palapit sa inuupuan niya kanina. Sinusundan ko lang siya ng tingin at nakita ko ang pag-iling nito at nalaglag ang balikat ko dahil sa pagka-dismaya.

"No. We are still looking for information. Don't worry, we will do our best. Headmaster also helping and he have so many resources," she responded at umupo sa silya habang tinitingan ako. Maybe, she saw my frustration. She smiled at me and spoke.

"You have a big heart. No doubt that she save you from that hell," because of what she said, I got confuse.

"What do you mean?" I asked but she just shooked her head while smiling.

"Nothing. You're going outside, right? You can go now," I just took a deep breath. I'm still confuse but I just erased those in my thoughts. If she mean those words, time will come that secrets will reveal. I suddenly got up and looked at her.

"How about you?" I asked back.

"I'm okay here. I need to clean our dorm before I go to rest. Take care, okay?" Tumango lang ako at tinalikuran na siya para makalabas na. Gusto kong makalanghap ng sariwang hangin. I saw a lot of students walking around. Hindi naman daw masama ang lumabas sa dorm basta huwag lang gabihin. I don't know if this University has their uniform since Nathalie didn't inform me. Maybe I can ask her later.

Habang naglalakad ay nakarating ako sa field na nasa likod ng North Building. Marami ring studyante roon at may ibang nagtatawanan at naglalaro na parang walang mga problema. How I wish I can be like them.

"You can be like them," I startled because of the familiar voice. I turned my head and I saw Shawn with a smile on his face. He's wearing a polo and a pair of pants that matches his body. Dalawang araw na hindi kami nagkita at sa kaniya ko lang pinakita ang ngiti ko. Even my dad didn't saw this, not even once. I didn't hesitate to smiled back. I turned my gaze back to the field and there were still people laughing.

"How's your mission?" I asked him while he's now standing next to me.

"It's good. Pupunta akong East Building.

I just passed by here because I came from inside the North Building. I saw you here so it's not bad to interrupt you, right?" He answered that made me looked at him before nodding.

"It's okay," I answered sparingly. He sighed and check his wristwatch. I think, he's running out of time, and he needs to do his missions as soon as possible.

"I think I need to leave you here. My father hated waiting. I'll just visit to your dorm later. Go back to your dorm immediately. I have to go," I just smiled in response and I just followed him with my gaze. Tumingin pa ako ulit sa malawak na field bago napagdesisyonang bumalik sa dorm.

Habang naglalakad ako ay nagtaka ako dahil maraming kumpulan sa isang playground. They're in circles and looking for something. May dalawang babaeng dumaan sa gilid ko na nagbubulungan at hindi naman ito nakatakas sa pandinig ko.

"I feel pity for them. Their dead bodies are so creepy," the girl said. I froze of what I heard and I hurried into the crowd. I did everything to check what's going on and when I succeeded, it feels that my whole world collapse. Dead bodies. Familiar faces. They are two and when an idea came up, I was shaking.

"Give way!" Sigaw ng isang boses matanda. Ako lang ang hindi umalis sa kinatatayuan ko. I cannot move. I want to cry but there's no tears. I was just staring with their dead bodies. I was about to break down when someone grab my hand. I feel a gaze from that old man but I didn't mind. Napatingin ako sa humila sa akin at agad akong umiyak nang makilala ko ito. Shawn.

He stopped and me as well. My knees were trembling. He faced me with his soft expression. Humakbang siya hanggang sa makalapit sa akin ng tuluyan. He cupped my face and kissed my forehead.

"It's okay..." He murmured and comfort me with his words. Wala siyang nagawa kundi ang yakapin ako kaya mas lalo akong umiyak at hindi ko napigilang ilabas ang saloobin ko dahil sa aking nasaksihan.

"They're gone. The people that I saw in the abandoned house are now dead, Shawn..."
