Chapter 4 - Plane Crash

Before the incident took place…

After saying goodbye to his fiancée, he and Lucas entered the jet plane while waving his hand at her. Then, he occupied a soft seat made of thick foam, sitting opposite his private secretary. Before the plane took off, for the last time, he looked at the photo together with his fiancé to release the longing, even though they had only separated a few minutes ago.

"I miss you, Charlotte," Gabriel said with a sincere smile while stroking his cellphone screen, especially the photo of his fiance plastered on the screen.

"Even though you just separated from her, you already miss her like you haven't seen her in months," Lucas said sarcastically.

"Wow, now you have the courage to say something presumptuous to me because yesterday I told you to be normal with me!" cried Gabriel, widening his eyes perfectly.

Taking the initiative, Lucas immediately knelt before Gabriel, his head lowered in guilt.

“Forgive my impudence just now, Prince Gabriel. I will never repeat it again. If you have to, just kill me."

Gabriel laughed out loud as he shook his head, continuing to observe how innocent his secretary was.

"You really can't be joked around, Lucas. Even though I was just joking with you.” Gabriel patted Lucas on the shoulder casually.

"Is that true? So you're not going to cut off my head?"

"Don't worry, I am known as a Prince who is kind to anyone. I definitely wouldn't kill people like catching a mouse with a trap."

"Thankfully, I'm a little relieved now." Lucas raised his body, then returned to his seat opposite Gabriel.

"But that doesn't mean I won't cut off your head one day." Gabriel cracked a mischievous smile with a satisfied laugh.

"Forgive me."

Gabriel's face suddenly changed drastically, remembering something important that Mr. Alexander was about to say. It's not like he usually has to visit him suddenly like this, not recorded in the agenda. His eyes focused on the plane window pane, his brows furrowed, his chin resting on his chin. 

“This is so weird, why did he suddenly ask me to meet?”

"I don't know, he said he wanted to reveal everything to you."

His right hand slowly moved to his lips which already tasted very sweet from kissing his fiancé. Recalling his treatment just a moment ago, made himself widen his smile, leaning his back relaxed while closing his eyes. Moreover, the warm and sweet touch of the lover's lips, made him want to do it again.

“I can't wait to taste her sweet lips again. Actually, I was already addicted to doing it,” he said casually, imagining it.

"But you don't usually do this in front of so many people."

"I don't know why, I just wanted to do it. I feel like I should do it while there's a golden opportunity."

“If I were you, I definitely wouldn't do it right away. It's better to do it in the private room so you can do it to your satisfaction."

Gabriel's right eyebrow was raised, a harsh sigh was exhaled from his mouth as he folded his arms in front of his chest.

"So you mean, I'm not polite to do it?"

“That's not what I meant….Never mind what I said just now rather than getting my head cut off.”

"For Charlotte's sake, I didn't cut off your head. If I were really beheaded, she would definitely hate me again.”

“By the way, I'm curious about you actually. Didn't you two fight before, how did you persuade her back?"

"There, for sure Charlotte is the type of woman who easily forgives people. So it was my mistake that hurt her at that time."

"Thankfully, I feel like I want to have a wife with a character like Charlotte."

"What did you just say? You want to take it from me?”

Suddenly in the middle of their conversation, the plane's condition was so unstable that Lucas started to panic now. 

“Prince Gabriel, you must stay seated and wear your seatbelt! I'll go to the control room and ask the pilot first," Lucas suggested hastily.

"What happened exactly? Wasn't that just before takeoff the plane was stable and there was no engine failure?"

"I don't know for sure either."

BRAKK

Again the plane shook, this time the crash was strong enough to make all the passengers there swayed. Quickly, all the guards that were deployed, surrounded Gabriel to protect him.

“Your Majesty, are you injured?” asked one of the guards.

"I'm fine. I will ask the pilot about the condition of this plane." When Gabriel was about to get up from the chair, all the guards blocked his way.

"You can't move, it's very dangerous!" throw another guard.

"Then should I just keep quiet?" Gabriel joked looking at the guard sharply with his hands on his hips.

While Lucas ran into the driver's room, he approached the pilot who was trying to stabilize the plane with the co-pilot.

"What happened? Why is the plane like this all of a sudden?” he asked, confused mixed with panic.

"I don't know for sure either. Even though before the plane was ready to be boarded, Your Majesty, the engine still looked fine. But suddenly an explosion occurred in one of the plane's engines, "said the pilot in a panicked tone while trying to control the plane that began to fall to the surface.

DUAARR 

The sound of a very strong flash of lightning made all the passengers on this plane startled. Plus bad weather allows aircraft engines to get worse.

Seeing the current situation, Lucas was getting crazy ruffling his hair in annoyance walking back and forth like he was ironing a wrinkled shirt.

"Is there no other way?" Lucas asked, his face turning paler.

"Right now we have to make an emergency landing for Your Majesty's safety," replied the pilot, pressing a control button.

"Anyway, you can't make this plane explode in mid-air! His Majesty's life is in danger, we can't just let him die!"

While the co-pilot sitting right next to the pilot pressed the button speaker to give an emergency signal.

“Code 001, Royal Air, is currently in a state of emergency!”

On the other hand, Gabriel continued to rebel against his guards and panicked at the current situation.

“Don't you ever think this plane will explode! The shock of the plane is caused by the turbulence of the plane, I'm used to getting on planes like this!" Gabriel snapped, pretending to be tough but he was actually very scared, let alone afraid that his life would be lost before marrying his fiance.

“But Your Majesty, the current situation is indeed an emergency.”

At the same time, the co-pilot pressed a button to dispense oxygen masks that were scattered in the passenger seat area of ​​the plane. While all the guards were busy putting on their oxygen masks, Gabriel paid no heed to it, unbuckled his seatbelt and ignored his mask. One of the guards grabbed his shoulder and blocked his path.

“How dare you guys get in my way! Aren't you all afraid of me!" snapped Gabriel his emotions exploded.

"For the sake of Your Majesty's safety, we must properly protect Your Majesty."

“I have to check the actual conditions!”

Gabriel pushed the guards with all his might until they all fell to the floor. The condition of the plane was getting more and more shaky so that it was difficult for him to walk to the aircraft control room.

BRAKK 

The impact was strong just now, causing Gabriel's body to fall to the floor. Seeing his condition just now, the royal guards spontaneously tried to raise their bodies towards Gabriel.

"Your Majesty!" shouted the guards.

"I'm fine. You better not worry about me!”

While in the control room, Lucas' eyes focused on the pilot and the co-pilot controlling the steering of his plane which was very unstable now. Moreover, the speed of this plane is so fast that the surface can be seen from here.

Suddenly a sound was heard indicating a very dangerous situation on the LCD screen.

"What happened again?" Lucas asked, breaking out in a cold sweat.

"This is terrible! The first engine of the plane just had an explosion!”

"WHAT?" Lucas' eyes widened.

"Sorry Mr Lucas, looks like we have to make a landing in the middle of the sea," said the co-pilot wearily.

"So basically, His Majesty's life won't be able to survive now?"

"This is the only thing that can save Your Majesty's life, we can't allow this plane to explode in midair!" avoid the co-pilot.

While the pilot pressed the speaker gave an important statement before making an emergency landing.

“Emergency landing in the middle of the sea! Royal air, the situation is very urgent right now! Roger may day! May Day!"Deftly

Lucas ran into the passenger space again, and approached the body of Gabriel, already powerless now.

“PRINCE GABRIEL!” Lucas shouted as he put the mask on his and Gabriel's face.

"What exactly happened?" Gabriel said weakly.

"The pilot captain decided to make an emergency landing in the middle of the sea because the plane is very unstable now."

Meanwhile Gabriel sighed in resignation while staring blankly at the ceiling.

“Is this really the end of my life? I haven't even gotten married to Charlotte yet."

“Prince Gabriel, you better not think of anything now! Surely we will all be safe!”

In the last seconds before making an emergency landing, Gabriel surveyed his surroundings desperately, some of the palace guards were unconscious, or some had their heads hit due to the strong shock of the plane. But he felt that something was really bothering him right now. Among the crowd of palace guards, there was someone who looked so foreign to him that he was confused now. His vision was getting blurry as he stretched out his index finger pointing at the person from a distance.

"Who's he?"

Before he could continue his words, the royal private jet landed in the middle of the sea.
