Part 2

SELENA HEMSWORTH'S POV

I raised my hand after rummaging my back pack.

" I left my books." I said, while looking down on my desk.

"Again? Ms. Hemsworth, my instructions were clear. This is the third time that you have left it. Please be responsible enough." I bit my lower lip and slowly put my hand down.

and this is the third time that my books weirdly gone missing before needing it for class.

"I am sorry Professor." I apologized. My classmates looked at our desk shortly, the look on their eyes especially the boys are telling me that they are worried about me.

My seatmate however, is kind enough to share her books with me. "I will bring it next time. I will make sure of it."

"It is okay. We can share mine." she said and turn the pages of the book and slide it on the center of our desk.

I swear to God, I saw it earlier before I went outside to go to the comfort room.

It has been days.

After meeting that new guy, weird things starts happening around me. My books went missing and I had to buy the same book thrice this week and all of those three went missing.

It is not my thing to point at someone without evidences but my guts were telling me that it is possible.

Shortly due to some meeting the class ended.

"Thank you." I smiled sweetly to the person next to me.

She shook her head and close her book then puts it inside her backpack. "No worries, you seems to be distress lately. I have noticed that" She took the book and place it inside her bag.

I chuckled out. "It is just weird things are happening to me right now. You see. I actually have my books with me, well not until class starts. My books are disappearing mysteriously." her mouth turned into an O shape.

"I see. This must be a rough week for you." She said, placing her hand on top of my shoulder, tapping it gently.

We bid our farewells and I decided to go to my locker to check if I left my book there at any chance.

I took my key and upon walking towards my locker, there is this weird smell. I wanted to get out as soon as I can so I immediately open my locker and what welcomes me feels like a choke in my breathing.

"Ugh! Gross!" I covered my nose with my hand.

Just as I thought that the bad day's over.

Those are the words that slipped out my mouth, the moment I open the locker.

There was a stinky smell and I wanted to get out of here but I found out that the smell is coming from my locker.

The students passing are covering their noses as they try to take a peak on the inside of my locker. I look at the inside, where the gross smell is coming from.

My eyes widen upon seeing what causes the smell.

"A dissected frog!!?? Seriously?" I said, with a grimaced face—my forehead wrinkled.

The smell is overwhelming, this is an unfinished disected frog and the smell is making me gag.

Usually, this is a subject used by Science majors. This is the building for Mathematics Major and it is an anomaly to find such thing here since the science building is two buildings away from mine.

Not leaving the fact that this is the very first time that I found something like this inside my locker. Usually, flowers letters and chocolates are the things I can find here, not a dead frog.

I cover up my mouth with a handkerchief and carefully took the box out of my locker or it will make my locker more gross.

"Fuck! What a day!." I groaned, carrying the box with one hand and putting it away from my nose.

At the end of the locker's area, I saw him–again. I walked passed them and I can hear laughing that is coming from his company. Like always, he was surrounded by students and he is looking at me, with the same look he had, the first time we met.

"Woah. What is that smell, Selena?. Haven't you bath today? You literally smell like a dead animal." Ivan, from my class asked, eyeing the box that I am carefully handling while covering his nose with his handkerchief.

"None of your bussiness, Ivan." I said, walking continuously. Men are such hopeless case.

"I can help you with that, come on give me that." He offered, which I immediately turned down. "You know what if you have nothing good to say, I would like you to shut your mouth. That would be much appreciated."

"Feisty. As always. You really have the guts." My body froze when I heard an icy tone.

Finally, he spoke. The man that is circling and dominating the hearts of students here.

I do not usually pay much attention to men and for some unknown reason, I just don't find them worth my time. I have always been this way for as long as I can remember.

"Stop bothering me." I said, irritated by the fact that I am suspecting him.

"So. That is what you think of me now? A bother?" He said while he fix his gaze at me. He uncrossed his hand and puts it in his pocket before walking towards me. "How can you think of me that way, that is very rude."

He pull his hand out, lean lower, facing my face then he flipped my forehead using his finger. "You. don't. talk. to. me. like. that." He said as his green eyes meets mine.

I was taken aback that I dropped the box and it spilled the frog on the floor. He took a glance at it then point at it, it was immediately taken care by someone from his group.

I push him away from me, his presence is irritating me. "Shut up and stay away from me. I am already having a bad start of the day." I took the small alcohol bottle out of my pocket and sprayed it on my hand.

" Why are you talking to me like that?" The man standing said while his forehead are wrinkling.

I pulled the strap of my bag and slide it up my shoulder. " Shut up and stop talking to me as if I know you because it irritates me." I walked past him and our shoulders bump on my way, back to my locker.

"Does he even belong to this place?" I took the bottle of alcohol I have on my back pack and refill my spray bottle.

"What would I do? It smells like frog now." I breathe heavily and sprayed alcohol all over it.

I do not want to blame anyone without any solid evidence but all of this happened right after our short eye contact interaction.

"My Luna."

The man called.
