The morning Alpha Brentwood woke up, he smelled for his fated mate before he opened his eyes. His eyes opened, sensing that she was not there, in her apartment.

He got out of bed and got himself prepared for work, just to be able to see her across the road from where she worked and also to get a close look at her when he was buying his lunch.

Walking towards his motorbike, Alpha Brentwood saw it where he hadn't parked it, now lying on the ground, crushed; someone had run over it not once but several times with their vehicle.

Alpha Brentwood, seething with anger, already knew exactly who could have done it. His fated mate boyfriend, Brandon. His wolf detected Brandon's overwhelming scent of sweat, cigarettes, alcohol, and crack cocaine all over his now useless motorbike.

Alpha Brentwood walked to work. It didn't take him much time to get to work; he was quick.

Even without his fast bike, he arrived at work three hours early as planned, so he could watch his fated mate while she worked
