LOGINAndre is quite literally shaking when he stands in the bathroom.
what the fuck. Why did he do that? god that was so creepy. Dylan is most likely going to cuss him out the second he returns. he didn’t even mean to. It was like his hand moved all on its own and he was frozen inside himself watching the way Dylan’s round eyes zeroed in on his hand the closer it got to his chin. And he didn’t flinch at all as if it were normal for Andre to touch him, at least he had the decency to not touch the chocolate on his lip that would’ve been worse. so much worse. When he comes out, Dylan is busy cleaning up his side of the room. all wrappers out of sight and Andre can now see the big box of pastries on his desk. "I told you not to stop because of me.” Dylan laughs, soft and gentle, "I have no need to be eating anymore.” “a couple pastries won’t make your abs go away, Kook.” the other’s face burns bright red and Andre knows it’s the perfect moment to change the subject because boundaries. yes, boundaries. But then Dylan smiles at him “they weren’t supposed to even be for me anyway” Andre has no reason to be filling the wicked curls of jealousy that he feels. tugging and yanking at his chest and gut. He has no right. Of course Dylan would want to share something he enjoys with his boyfriend. Andre was stupid to try to keep the little pastries just for them. But then Dylan sighs, “I was going to bring them up after the game… um for you, well all of you guys. since you brought some for me. “but then I thought about how weird that would be because I don't ever go to the games and then suddenly I'm going with a box of pastries and do hockey players even eat desserts like that? I mean, I know you do and Daniel does in the morning but after a game?” he’s rambling pacing between their beds with his hands flailing and head shaking. as if he’s scolding himself for having the sweetest thought in the world. “but then i just realized it was a dumb idea asking for trouble so now here i a— mph – hey ” Andre smiles as Dylan bites into the pastry he put in front of his mouth. “Relax. It would've been really cool if you did that but it's no big deal. Obviously there wasn’t a game anyway, so I'm glad you didn’t waste your energy walking all the way there.” Dylan sits in bed chewing the bite he didn’t even ask for with his cheeks pink but his eyes are narrowed and sharp. Is this how he looks when he’s angry? Andre is more fucked than he was before– how is this possible– because Dylan is so adorable he wants to scream. Andre finishes the pastry in his hand. dusts the crumbs off with loud claps before sinking onto his own bed “damn that hit the spot.” When he rolls over to grab his phone charger, he wasn’t expecting to see Dylan staring at him. The sharp eyes have rounded out again, he looks like he has something to say. Then he sucks his bottom lip between his teeth and the violent whipping in Andre’s stomach nearly has him curling over. He is so eager to hear whatever he’s thinking. to hear anything from Dylan, if he’s honest. But then there’s knocking and Andre realizes, as soon as he reaches the door and finds Daniel standing there that he’s completely, utterly and miserably hopeless. They only have two practices before the first round of playoffs and Andre wants to secure his spot as captain again for his senior year, desperately. So he's been spending extra hours every evening on the ice. It's enjoyable because he has it all to himself except for tonight. Because after only a few laps of warm up skating he sees Daniel dropping his bag onto the bench and pushing out onto the ice. “mind if i join? I'm so anxious about the playoffs.” Andre doesn’t mind of course not. and he hates the way he’s let this childish crush of his change the way he views one of his oldest friends. Daniel may not be his best friend. but he is a really really great one. and Andre feels so horrible as they run drills together and he’s reminded why they’re co captains in the first place. They have an unmatched synergy on the ice. it feels fucking awesome. Then there’s the sound of footsteps on the bleachers and he looks up to see a messy ponytail and big round glasses and two bags of something in Dylan’s hands. If Daniel notices the way Andre stares at him, he doesn’t call him out for it. He just slaps him on the shoulder. “I asked him to bring us some food. He said you’ve been practicing every night so I figured you haven’t been fueling yourself properly if you come straight here after class and then crash at home.” Andre wants to cry or scream or both. He’s overwhelmed with emotion of seeing Dylan here of knowing Dylan was paying attention to his schedule. Overwhelmed by Daniel wanting to keep him company. Overwhelmed by the guilt he feels because he wants Dylan so bad it's becoming unbearable. But then Daniel skates over to the half glass and presses a soft kiss to Dylan’s cheek in thank you and Andre realizes that his place in their life is meant to be where it is right now. as far away from them as possible. When Dylan’s slow nuzzles turn into long hot presses of lips against his neck, is Andre supposed to be able to stop the shivers that spread across his entire body? How can he? The first two weeks they spent apart were horrible but after a week of having this perfect human in his arms, the three weeks without him, have been his own personal hell.Dylan’s teeth catch onto the skin just beneath the collar of Andre’s shirt. Sucking the tiniest little mark. Andre’s fine, he’s cool.Dylan brushes his index finger over the mark he left behind, low eyes and mouth slightly ajar. But it’s the quiet way he whispers ‘mine’ to himself, that has Andre kissing him instantly. He never stood a chance of keeping this kiss innocent when one of Dylan’s hands grasp onto the back of his neck. He’s trying to pull himself as close as possible and Andre just can’t let his baby struggle.Another day? He’ll be intrigued to test Dylan’s patience. Right now? Andre just wants to love him so bad. The hand tha
Despite his protests, Andre demands they take a walk just to get some air. They get dressed reluctantly and Dylan doesn’t let go of his hand for a single second. He tries not to let himself worry too much about whatever Andre witnessed in the room. This hotel has a beautiful outdoor walkway, lined with flowers and looking out onto a massive swimming pool.Water sounds and laughing kids they all help drowning out everything else. Andre stops them when they reach the entrance to a poolside booth–he’s not sure what they’re stopping for but Dylan’s eyes land on a frozen drink machine that has his name written all over it.But the last thing he’s going to do is ask Andre for more. Not when he’s already doing so much. So he stands patiently, chin over his boyfriend’s shoulder, eyes watching the families that play in the water. Gasping softly when a straw is pressed to his lips and when the sweet taste of frozen banana slushie hits his throat he almost moans. Thankfully he doesn’t, bu
Andre rolls onto his side, making it easier to tuck Dylan against himself entirely. Hand soft against the back of his head, “you’re okay, baby. It's just us in here. you and me.” he feels Dylan nod against him but it's not enough. Andre wants to make him feel better and he doesn’t fucking know how.All that he knows to do right now is keep holding him until Dylan feels comfortable to talk.Dylan is spiraling. It’s not that he wants to spiral, he doesn’t realize he’s spiraling. But sleeping took him right back into the kitchen, with his mother kicking chairs and tearing sweatshirts. The living room at fifteen, surrounded by study materials and not being allowed to have dinner until he knew everything. A car ride home from the baseball diamond at nine, his mother’s bitterness over him fumbling the ball several times still aches as much as it did back then waking up to that loud crashing sent his already fragile mind into a frenzy. He tried so hard not to cry.All he’s done is cry.
He can hear water coming from the bathroom and really, he shouldn’t be as surprised as he is when Andre grabs his hand and guides Dylan inside. Not a word is spoken the entire time as they get undressed, slipping into a tub that is probably double the size of the one back in Andre’s bedroom. But instead of his usual position behind Dylan’s back, Andre sits across from him.Tugging at his ankles until Dylan rests his legs in his boyfriend’s lap. “Do you have your phone? Or do they have it?”“I have them, but they’re both broken. I haven’t had them since Wednesday.”“I figured that much” Andre tries to smile but Dylan can see just how hard it is. As much as Dylan is absolutely loving the way Andre’s deft fingers work at his feet and calves. He just needs him.He needs him close more than anything. So he sits up and moves until he’s wedged himself between Andre’s legs. Settling back against his chest. “I imagined you showing up next week to find me homeless.”“I sure as hell hope you
Hyeri sobbed for an hour while we were packing at the last minute because she wanted to see you.” Andre presses one more kiss to his lips. Closing the trunk behind him as he smiles into it, "It’s your fault we all love you so damn much.”The car is silent, save for the soft music playing through the car speakers. The sun is just barely peaking up behind the clouds. Hyeri’s hand is tight on Dylan’s. She reached for it as soon as he got in the car and hasn’t let go since. Andre’s weight and warmth pressed up against him feels so much like he’s got his own personal forcefield. A safe little barrier of love that he can rest into and close his eyes and not think about anything else.He doesn’t know how long it takes them to get where they’re going. But when his eyes start to open, it’s to the smell of something really delicious and the sound of the car parking.Hyeri’s voice is soft, “Dylanie and Andreie are sleeping. What do we do?”“M’awake” he grumbles softly. Nudging at Andre who
Dylan faces David. The room feels like it’s spinning. He nearly falls over, “What?”“I’m not your biological father. I had suspicions. I’ve had them for a long time, but I confirmed it yesterday with our results..”“So that test… was a DNA test??” Dylan’s knees feel so weak. He genuinely doesn’t know how he is still standing, “What do you mean he’s—”“Oh, I already know your grandmother told you all about my broken heart. You guys enjoyed laughing about it.”Jiah walks into the room, “no one was laughing about your pain. I was trying to help my grandson understand why you’re hellbent on ruining this relationship of his.”“Wait…did you know since you got pregnant?” His head snaps towards Rena, “Did you know that dad isn’t my dad?” He looks at his grandmother, heart breaking, “and did you?!”The look on her face shows nothing but regret.“Wow. So I’m the only one who had no idea. My entire life I’ve been treated like a disgrace in this house. And that’s what it is? Because the guy who k
