I woke in an empty bed to sounds of chaos in the house. I vaguely remembered Tristan telling me something about the perimeter being breeched late last night and frowned as I realised, he must not have been back to bed since. I climbed off the huge mattress wrapped Tristan’s bath robe around myself and picked up my dress before cracking open the door.
“Good morning, Luna.” One of the three men stated as he turned to face me slightly in the hallway.
“Morning. Any idea what’s going on?” I asked and he shrugged.
“No idea Luna, sorry.” He muttered and I nodded before stepping out of the room and entering my own, the guards watched me warily but didn’t move or say anything before I closed the bedroom door where all my things were and wondered if I would be moving into Tristan’s room now.
