CHAPTER 23

SEPH'S POV

The rain will not be stopping anytime soon. The weather has worsened. It was not drizzling anymore. It’s like a raging storm.

Beside me, Ayla laid cuddled up. The room light as always was on because I started hating the dark since that God awful night.

Ayla seemed in a talking mood. She had already slept in the evening and now was busy doing her favourite thing. Asking questions. I helped her in the bath and realized that her blonde roots glistened from beneath the brown ones that I had coloured. I have to look for hair colour. Suddenly Ayla asked a question which just dragged me to the whirlpool of memories. Memories of my Homeland.

"Mama is Athens beautiful?" She asked innocently.

"The most beautiful place you would have ever seen," I remarked. The history and art of Athens are divine. It’s a perfect place for one who has a great interest in knowing the ancient culture.

"I want to see it too," she said.

"Maybe one day my dear" I kissed her head. I wanted her to know a
