CHAPTER 2

Bella's POV

"Wait do you two know each other?" The principal asked

"Yes she is my best friend", he announced keeping his eyes on me.

"Really, Miss Murray why didn't you tell me earlier?" She asked in shock still studying the both of us.

"We used to be best friends", I corrected wiping the smile off Logan's face. It wasn't my intention to sound rude but I needed to clarify him that just because he's back doesn't mean things are going to go back to the way they used to be. He must be joking if he thinks he can just come back into my life and pretend like everything was okay.

The principal sensed the tension in the atmosphere and cleared her throat. "Well I hope you'll be able to adapt quickly prince Logan and don't hesitate to ask Miss Murray for any help".

We exited the office to start the tour. A man walked up to us, "prince Logan do you need anything else?" the man asked.

"No I think I can handle it from here, I'll call you later." Logan responded as the man nodded his head in understanding.

"I'll be in the car then", he replied leaving the two of us alone.

Logan turned to face me as soon as the man left, he stared straight into my eyes like he was looking for answers.

"So Prince Logan can we start the tour?" I said with a force smile and walked away. I heard him sigh in defeat and walked after me.

We went around the school and I showed him around but Logan wasn't listening as he kept staring at me the entire time.

"And our last destination is the gym, do you have any questions, prince?" I stood by the door to the room. There were few students around practicing for the games.

"Yes I do" he said in seriousness. "Why didn't you write me back? Why didn't you return my calls? What happened to you?" He asked at once.

"I'm sorry prince Logan but those are personal questions, any question relating to the school?" I retort back with a fake smile.

I wasn't prepared to answer his questions in the first place, I didn't even think he was coming back.

"I don't think you understood me clearly, I wasn't asking, I'm demanding for an answer" he fired back.

He really has the nerve does he think he can order me around like I'm his servant.

"And if I don't?". He took a step and then another until his face was few inches away from mine.

"I'm sure you're wise enough not to anger a prince" he warned. We were so close to the point that I could feel his hot breath on my skin. I took a large step back and my body relaxed from the tension of his closeness. Just his presence alone makes me feel tingles and I won't allow him to affect me in a my kind.

"Are you threatening me?"

"If that's the way you put it".

"Wow i didn't know that having the title of a prince will turn you into an egoistic jerk." I barked back and saw hurt in his eyes. " I don't know why you came back and I don't care as long as you stay away from me and don't cause any problem we'll be fine". I was about to leave but he held my hand.

"Please talk to me Bella , don't ignore me".

"Don't call me that name anymore", I said and removed his hands from mine and walked away.

"Bella!" Amber called and sprinter towards me, while I tried to unlock my old rusty car. "Where have you been?", she asked.

"Oh, you know......" I didn't want to tell her what happened.

"No I don't. Now tell me! You disappeared for half a day and you won't even tell me where you have been. What's going on, Bella?" She asked worried.

"Just tell me when I say everything is fine okay". I opened the door and tried to slip in hoping that Amber will let me go but she held me back and closed the door.

"Amber let go!"

"No, not unless you tell me what's going on!" She argued as she dragged me with one of her hands. "Why are you so stubborn?" She asked.

I rolled my eyes. "Says the one who's holding me".

"Bella, seriously--- " before she could finish her statement someone sneaked up behind her and covered her mouth with a handkerchief, causing her to faint. The person was wearing all black and dragged her into a white tinted van.

"Amber! Stop! Help! Amber" and the next thing I knew everywhere went black.
