Dean's POV

Every day that goes by and I do not find my mate makes me angrier. My parents tried to talk to me, but I didn't want to talk to them now. I do not wish to speak to them about Maureen or her family. The only one in her family I'm still talking to is Martin. I am sitting in my office when my father knocks at the door. The door is open, so I show him to come in. I know I cannot avoid everybody. I will have to talk about what happened that night when Maureen was supposed to become a mate. My father looks at me as he walks into the office.

"You have become very quiet. Your mother and I hardly see you. Maureen cries daily because you don't want to talk to her. We all know what happened and that Tamara is your mate.
