Chapter 4 No Pampering at All

The next day, Jessica handed in her resignation letter and then went directly to the TV station. There was one hour left before the audition for the spokesperson of Talent League, and she went to Gail Long first.

Gail was the program director of the TV station. Being on the best terms with Jessica, Gail had been by her side through thick and thin.

Gail regretted that Jessica had quit her job again for Adam, "Jessica, why are you so into Adam? Just because he saved you when you were both little and was your first love?"

Adam said before that he would bring home the bacon while Jessica could relax at home as a full-time housewife. But now looking back, it seemed more like a method to prevent Jessica from pestering him than a sweet promise, so that he could enjoy his time with Adela!

"Tanner, is she your staff? How rude she is! What if she ruins my audition later?"

Jessica then saw the former Deputy Director Tanner beside Paige. He immediately scolded Gail with a straight face, "Gail, watch your behavior!
