Matt and Leo sat in the living room. “Come with me, little man.” Stella led Ian to his room. “Is something wrong with aunt Nancy?” Ian asked. “Everything will be fine.” Stella comforted. “Just stay in here and play with your toys, okay?”
She then made her way towards her room. “There will be lots of tension between Matt and John.” She went inside the bathroom, splashing fresh water against her face. “I should get ready mentally and emotionally.”
“You should focus more on this project, Stella.” Leo brought a cup of coffee for Stella. “Ain’t it important to you?” He sat beside her.Stella threw the pen off her hand and ran her fingers through her hair. “My mind races a mile a minute.” She aggressively bit her lower lip. “I couldn’t sleep the whole night.”“Did something happen after I left?” Stella played with the spoon inside the cup. “Stella.” Leo tapped her shoulder. “You can trust me.” He gave her a warm smile.
Stella stood up by the window waiting for Matt to come to the party. As the soft music played, John walked near her with two glasses of wine. “I don’t drink, John.” She smiled at him. “Uh, I forgot.” He placed one glass on the nearest table.“Why are you standing here?” John grabbed her hand and led her among the crowd. “I wanted to stay away from the crowd before the party starts.” Stella said, shifting her eyes across the huge illuminated room.
Matt and Stella stared at John in silence. The latter approached them with his glaring eyes fixed on the girl he loved. “What about the beautiful time we had together?” John asked, tightening his fists.“That was a mistake, John. Stella had always been mine and no one can stand against our love.” Matt said, holding his chin up. Meanwhile, Stella glanced at John with watery eyes.“It’s my fault that all the people who love me are in pain.” Stella pressed her hand against her chest. “John, Nancy and Matt. My mistakes keep hurting you.” Stella averted her gaze to Matt.
Stella’s phone rung, while John was driving his way towards Stella. He picked up, rolling his eyes. “What do you want from Stella at this late hour?” John roared. “I’m calling her to tell her that Nancy is living tonight. I’m at the airport and I couldn’t hold her back.” Leo informed. “I’m quite busy for Nancy’s shit. Stella and Ian got kidnapped.” John raged. “Wait, what? I-” John hung up before Leo finished his sentence.“Damn!” Leo cursed. He then ran after Nancy until he caught her up. “Nancy!” He yelled. &ld
Ian held his parents hands to both sides as they walked off the hospital. “Who is that woman who died, daddy?” Ian asked. Meanwhile, John came out behind them, shoving his hands inside his pockets. Matt kneeled down, cupping his son’s cheeks. “Forget about her, Ian. It’s over now.” Ian hugged him tight. “You will come with us, right?” Ian mumbled against Matt’s chest. Matt looked up at Stella as he got up. The latter’s mouth curved up into a smile. “Let’s go home, little man.” Matt pushed Ian inside the car. He then turned around, meeting Jo
Stella walked up to Matt. She rolled his wheeling chair to her direction and sat on his desk. He smirked, watching her body moves which never knew the meaning of hesitation. “Call her to your office!” She ordered. Above all, her soft voice added more attraction to her dangerous looks.“Okay, boss.” Matt grabbed the phone, placing one hand on Stella’s bare thigh. “Diana! Call Pamela to my office.” He put the phone back to its place, throwing his back against the will and winking at his wife with a serious face.Seconds later, Pamela appeared in the room with her usual high heels.
The maid swung the door open. “Is mom home?” Nancy asked as she rushed inside with Ian. “In the living room, miss.”Ian burst into tears when he saw his grandparents. He jumped into Addison’s arms, sobbing against her chest. “Why are you crying, little man?”Addison stroked his hair, before she looked up at Nancy.“John kidnapped Stella.” Nancy informed. “My dear daughter.&rd
“Fuck this!” Matt cursed. “He is forcing her to talk.” He shoved the phone back in his pocket. He walked back and forth, starting to lose his patience. The security agent ran back to Matt and Nancy. “Here you go. You take this yacht.” He led them, as the rain got heavier. “I’ll never let go of her. Never ever!” Nancy heard Matt repeating to himself. She placed her hand on his arm, giving him a warm smile. “You will have her between your hands soon.”
