Myra’s pov

“Please Stop! Please, I beg you, stop!”

A stream of tears rolled down my cheek as I lay on the operating table.

My stomach was throbbing in pain, my waist was on fire, and even the breath I took was accompanied by a sharp pain.

It was too immense.

My hands clasped on my stomach, praying that the moon goddess would come to my aid. My legs were trembling at what was about to happen to me.

Two years ago, I wouldn't have believed that the man I would be praying against, the one I loved so much and had given my all to. Even though I was a wolf-less omega princess and should be cast aside as not important, Alpha Ethan never looked down on me as a privileged child  as whispers have it, rather he accepted me for who I am.

Now, Ethan stood in front of the operating table, not even a flicker of warmth in his eyes, as if I meant nothing to him.

“Ethan please… I beg of you!”

My eyes were red, and my body was trembling from fear as the doctor stood by his right, ready to take in his order.

Tiara, his childhood friend, stood by the other side, a devious smirk curled up her lips.

Ethan took a few steps closer to me and carefully caressed me with his left arm.

For a very brief moment, there was a flicker of warmth in his eyes, but it disappeared just as quickly as I had seen it.

And all that was left in his gaze that locked onto mine was coldness.

"Myra, you know how much I care about you.”

I swallowed as I nodded sharply.

He paused, his eyes hardening into glaciers.

"But damnit, I am the Alpha!"

His bellow caused me to flinch.

"And you Myra, you are an Omega.. a wolf less one at that” he hissed.

There was a sour expression on his face as he said the words, like they were so bitter for him to admit.

“It has never been a problem before, Ethan, you promised we would always be together…”

“Yes, but the child in your womb wasn't part of it. Our marriage is nothing but an alliance and I have gotten all I need from it.”

His voice was sharp, carrying the usual coldness as he stared into my eyes.

Irritation glazed the orbs.

“This was never meant to happen. You are an Omega and there is no way in the world that I am going to let my first child, my heir come out through an Omega, whether of royal blood or not, that is why the baby in your womb has to go.”

The words pierced directly into my heart. I had braced myself for many things.

His disappointment, his silence, even his anger. But not this, Never this.

“No…. Please, I beg of you, I promise the baby will never be a problem; I will go far away. You can have other kids with other maidens from more respectable families, please don't do this to me.”

The more I wiped the tears, the more the stream of tears kept rolling down. His jaws tight as he massaged his temples.

He wasn't the same Alpha that had lived with me and never bothered if I was just a privileged child in the pack house.

“You are mine Myra, you are not going anywhere, this baby will be eradicated and we will dissolve our marriage and you will remain as my mistress while Tiara will become my Luna….”

His lips rose into a smirk that immediately curdled my blood with ease.

“See, every problem has a solution.”

He let out a soft sigh and motioned to the doctor who stepped closer, holding a syringe of anesthesia.

But just as he was about to inject it into me, Tiara stepped forward.

“No doctor! Don't you think giving her anesthesia would harm her and the baby? You don't want to kill her, do you?”

There was a smirk on her lips as she spoke and I gaped in confusion.

That made no sense to me, because without anesthesia, I would die. I glanced at Ethan, expecting him to speak up.

I was an omega. A wolf less one at that just as he stated. My baby was preterm, and yet they were going to operate on me.

Without anesthesia.

It was obvious that Tiara only wanted to make sure that I felt all the pain.

“Ethan, you can't let her do that to me.” I cried out, hoping that just this once, I meant something to him.

“I am sorry Myra but Tiara is right. You shouldn't have let yourself get pregnant in the first place, you should know you should have aborted it when I asked nicely! Or did you think that it would force me to make you my Luna because you are carrying my first heir?”

I didn't have the time to respond, seeing the doctor standing in front of me with elbow length gloves around his hands.

No doubt he was ready to proceed with the surgery without administering anesthesia.

“Alpha. I don't think you need to remain here. You should step outside and I will make sure the procedure goes very smoothly,” Tiara assured him, her hands caressing his cheek as she stared at me from the corner of her eyes before leaning in to plant a kiss there.

And as if her kiss had some strong effects on him, he nodded his head, and with one last glance at me, he stepped out of the ward.

“Wait! Ethan please!” I called out at the top of my voice, struggling so hard, trying so hard like there was a way I could save my baby. Save myself.

But I felt the sting on my upper hand, and I turned around to stare at the doctor. Slowly, I could feel my body starting to betray me.

From the first day Tiara stepped into the pack house, she hadn’t been exactly who she portrays herself to be. I thought back at all the times Ethan told me not to worry about her.

At every event, every dinner, she was right by his side at every moment that should have been ours.

“You’re being paranoid Maya.”

“She’s just my childhood friend and she’s family now, you should accept her as you have to me.”

“You know about her health condition.”

He made me feel inconsiderate, yet I swallowed my instincts

because I was the Alpha fiancée and someday I hoped I would become his Luna.

But all of that dream was shattered when he found out I was pregnant.

He became furious, saying I was not fit to be the first to bear his heir.

The doctor grabbed a sliver blade and my heart began pounding rapidly.

“Doctor… what are you— Don't...” I asked as my hands were placed into the leather straps on either side of the bed.

“The relaxant should last at least an hour, we need to be fast and get this thing out of her stomach before it wears off!” The doctor explained to the nurse standing next to him.

I could hear the sound of my heart pounding, I tried to get up, to scream or even move my arms. But everything about me had gone numb and just like that, I was like a sack of potatoes!

That was the moment I knew I wouldn't survive it; no werewolf would survive going through a silver blade, but I kept wondering even at my last moment, if Ethan was aware of the blaze used on me.

With every single slice through every layer of my stomach, I felt the pain bit by bit. I clenched my fist hard, gritting my teeth with tears rolling down my cheek as I tried too hard to take in all of the pain.

I had no wolf to help fight out of this situation.

Sweat dripped from my forehead, the pain was nothing as I had ever felt, it crushed every soul inside of me, my fiancé had taken away my life for no reason.

Blood suddenly sprouted out, splashing around as the machine began to make an alarming sound.

Slowly, I was starting to feel the life drained out of me. Slowly fading in the darkness.

“Be fast, she is having internal bleeding!” The doctor yelled out to one of his nurses, but at this point, I was no longer feeling the pain, my body was numb as I stared at the ceiling wondering what I had done and why I had to end up like this.

Soon the baby was out of my stomach, a male child that was preteen.

“What should we do?” The doctor has turned to Tiara, waiting for her instructions.

“Do I need to spell it all for you? Get rid of that bastard child!” She gritted her teeth as she let out the words, her eyes dark with no single warmth in them.

The doctor lowered his head and without hesitation, he picked up a knife and sliced through the baby.

My child!

“Nooo...” I tried to scream but the words didn't come out.

The nurses stood still, like they had expected it to happen, no one made an effort to save me. I have no clue why I lived such a miserable life and ended up like this.

“Please….. please moon goddess….. grant me a second chance to avenge my child …. please.” The last tears trickle down my cheek. Then I shut my eyes forever.

This opening was heartbreaking. I already feel so much for Myra, and I can't wait to see how she finds the strength to fight back after everything she's been through.

Honestly, this is a terrible experience that anyone could ever go through. How could they be so heartless so operate on her without anesthetic and even kill her child in front of her?????

Myra’s pov “Good day Walter.” I said with a gentle smile as I walked into the Voss estate. I chose to have a half day at work today. He exchanged greetings with me and we walked further in together. “Alpha Aleric isn’t around but he passed his instructions on what you will be doing today.” He told me and I nodded. I saw him leaving the office earlier with his Beta. “Do you have your training fits?” He asked and I took a brief look at myself. “No I don’t.” I pressed my lips in a thin line. I totally forgot I would be needing one. Combat and defense classes wasn’t my best times in high school since I didn’t have my wolf like most of my mates. Neither was I ever trained as the princess of my pack. I had changed into the tracksuit and training jerseys Walter gave me. It wasn’t exactly my size but it was better than wearing my office clothes. We were now standing at the back of the building where a huge field was. He was also dressed in training fits and he looked more like a warri

Myra’s pov “Sera would show you to your office and let you know everything you need to know.” I said as I walked into the building with Charlotte and Sera by my side. She chuckled at my words but I didn’t pay her any attention. She wanted a position and I made sure to give her one that would keep her busy and away from my business. I walked down to the other side of the building where the boardroom was. I had somehow become the center of attraction once again— first it was for hitting Tiara and now for selling off the Voss land but regardless of the rumors and judgy eyes I have to be out here. No one has a lead yet on who could have framed me up but Aleric assured me they were still searching. I got into the elevator which was a few seconds from closing but someone put in their hands and stopped it. My gaze met his, and he stood frozen for a moment before hurrying through the door before it closed again.“Hi..” The stranger said and stretched out his hand for a handshake. “Hi.

Tiara’s pov “Did you do it?” I chuckled dryly at his words. We had managed to pass through the night devouring each other and I had a feeling he was here for a reason with the way he came at me, but he passed out before he could ask. I got out of the bed and threw on a robe. It seems he is good at ruining good moments. “Is that why you’re here?” I poured myself a glass of wine from the leftover and took a slip. As far as I can remember the last time I tried to approach him, he didn’t pay any attention to me and shoved me off that he was busy. But now he had run right back into my hands because of his Little Miss scandal. “Come on Tiara you know I missed you.” He also got out of bed and threw on his trousers. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes. “I just don’t want you to get into trouble.” He added. “If it makes you feel any better. I didn’t do it.” I gave him a knowing look, gulped down the rest of my wine and walked down to the shower. He could use the information however

  • Forbidden Entanglement With My Father In-Law   Chapter Twenty Eight

Myra’s pov “Aunt Polly.” She pulled me in for a hug as I got out of Ethan's car. Sera was also beside her and I also hugged her. I let out a gentle sigh. My heart has never been so at peace in a while. It felt good to be home for the first time in a long time. “My child, you look pale.” Aunt Polly patted my head gently as she looked at me with gentle eyes. Sera must have filled her in on what was happening. My father and Lucia stood by the side with Etahn in discussions and I bowed my head slightly at them before walking in with aunt Polly and Sera. I was well rested. Aunt Polly made my favorite meal and Sera helped me settle in. The injury on my shoulder was healed up already with just a little scar left. I stood beside the window and watched nature do its thing and the cool evening breeze sent shivers down my spine and hit me with thoughts of what could have happened if Aleric wasn’t able to terminate the approval. I have no idea what was in the envelope he handed to the Alph

  • Forbidden Entanglement With My Father In-Law   Chapter Twenty Seven

Myra’s pov “What are you doing here?” I looked at him with pinched brows. It's been only a few hours since the rumors began. “What would people say if they found out I let my fiancée face such a hard time alone.” He said with concern. He must have figured I was here. I'm sure Sera wouldn’t have told him. “If you are worried about what people would say you shouldn’t.” I pressed my lips in a thin line. “I’m here because I know you didn’t approve of it.” The looks in his eyes said otherwise. I chuckled in my head. I can’t believe him. He couldn’t wait to find out if I did approve the project or not since he knows what that means for him. “How sure are you?” I gave him a knowing look and folded my hand across my chest. He was silent. “You should leave Ethan, I'll handle my shit.” I shut the door in his face.I stood for a while behind the door until I heard his footsteps thud against the wooden floor, gradually fading into the distance. . The last time he helped me out, he trie

Aleric’s pov “Everything is under control, no blogs or news channels will push the news.” Taylor said reassuringly before ending our call.I loosen my tie and sat back on the single chair in the room while I looked out the window to the night sky and I poured myself a glass of whiskey to help me relax. The wind blew the scanty tree mildly and other than the sound of the heavy mining machines, the birds' chirp echoed softly. My gaze fell on the other side where Myra’s room was next to mine. She wasn’t asleep. I could hear her breathing but it seemed she wasn’t moving around so much anymore. She must be really worried. Even if she tries to act all strong and tough, I could tell that she is scared. Anyone who finds themselves in such a situation would be. She could lose everything and so would her pack. I have Tyler looking into who the traitor could be. Ethan couldn’t be responsible for the situation. It is too much of a risk for him. He can’t afford to split Myra’s shares he s
