“Soren, Ekansh, Malishka, breakfast is ready!” Aadhira’s cheerful voice echoed from the kitchen, carrying a note of excitement that made the children perk up instantly. Seconds later, the patter of small, hurried feet reached her ears, growing louder with every step.
Moments later, the three seven-year-olds burst into the kitchen, their wide grins lighting up the room like sunshine breaking through clouds.
“Mommy!” the trio squealed in unison, rushing forward to hug her tightly. But it was impossible to hold all three at once—Aadhira’s seven-months-pregnant belly made her movements slower, her arms not quite long enough to reach every child simultaneously.
