Leandros’s POV

After Three Months

I drove home from the office after a hectic day at work. It has been exactly three months since I sent the beautiful pendant to Lyra a day after her birthday. It wasn’t my fault that the delivery got delayed. Yet until now, I had no idea of her reaction. I called Hera to take an update a day later, but she informed me about Lyra’s departure. She had left for her college in Toronto before my gift was delivered. Felixe couldn’t courier such an expensive item to her hostel. They would wait for her visit.

Maybe she hadn’t visited her uncle in the last three months. It would be wise to put it behind me and concentrate on my work.

I did just that for the last three months. Work and the pack took up all my time. Thankfully, after Zephyrus’s warning to Alpha Lucas, Dimitra and her Beta didn’t disturb us at all. Yet Zephyrus tightened the security around the place in case they attacked.
