‘The acer finally failed and will repeat her half credit hours.’

The hot new topic of the university. News spreaded like fire in every department and corner.

She was the main gossip now.

People bickered about her in every possible way.

After the class with Dr.Serafino, she immediately had dashed out to her dorm, where she cried over the paper and her university life.

He had made sure that she’ll repeat half of her subjects even though she had aced them all with the highest grades with difficulty since sometimes there were people who tried to compete with her.

The next day, she had arrived in a black skirt and a white tuck in collared t-shirt.

The students slightly snickered at her.

She had become the laughing stock.

“Took her long enough to fail.” One of the girls smirked who was busy sipping her cold brew. “Yeah, she totally deserved it, since she is such a stuck up bitch.” Another replied with a nod. “True! In high school she used to degrade people and fire bitchy comments.” They all laughed, making fun of her.

Rosella signed and went towards her first class which was Psychology 1090. She walked in and straight went towards her friend who gave her a reassuring smile.

“Don't listen to them, they’re just jealous of you.” Linda spoke, while placing her books on the table. Rosella hummed but deep inside she knew they were right.

The next classes went by in a blur and soon they arrived at the cafeteria for lunch, where Mary and Selena usually sat. “I hope they’ll just shutup.” Mary said whilst she approached Rosella to give her a hug. Rose weakly hugged her back as she caressed her back slowly.

The girls led her to their table. “He such an ass.” Selena confessed, the straw halfway dangling from her mouth. “I know right! Like he didn't even ask the other teachers and straight up deducted her hours.” Marry nodded at Linda's response.

Rosella sighed, “it’s okay, don't worry.”

“You do know that you’ve worked very hard too come this far?” Mary questioned as she took a bite of out of the chicken fillet burger.

Rosella absentmindly hummed.

“Just talk to him and explain, hm?” Linda said making Rosella shift in her seat. “I don't know..” She trailed off at the end.

“Just try, hopefully he’ll understand? I mean it cant be that bad, right Sel and Mary?"

“Yeah Lin is right, you should atleast talk to him, also I’ve heard that he was reported in today for the Chairman seat so basically he has the last say in everything.” Mary said, shrugging.

Rosella nodded, thinking that maybe if she could talk to him, maybe everything would go well?

The girls conversed with each other, cheering Rosella up. The lunch ended and soon they departed for there respective classes.

“You know, I was thinking to drop Neuro and go for Orthopedic instead.” Linda suddenly spoke.

 “Really but why?”

“I’ve always liked the idea of bones also my father wants me to pursue it so he can pass his hospital too me.” She said, determination dripping from her voice.

Linda was a very rich kid. Infact all of Rosella's friends were. Linda had very protective parents who were doctors whilst Selena’s mom and dad were content creators who travelled all over the world. And Mary’s parents had a renown business which was acknowledged world wide.

“So do you wanna study Orthopedic than?” Rose asked, a little sad that she would have to be alone in the class where people were disgusted by her presence.

“Yep, today I’ll be taking the class, so goodbye! I’ll see you later.” Linda replied and hurriedly ran to her class down the hall.

Rose walked towards her class. She still had a few minutes until the class started so she entered the class where she saw him sitting on the black leather chair. His leg draped over the other and a thick book within his hand as his eyes scanned the sentences written on the page.

His glasses were taken off and she could see the perfect sharp features of his eyes.

The three buttons of his black dress shirt were opened, showcasing the silver chain dangling around his neck.

His hair styled in a messy way. Loose curls rested on his forehead just above his eyes and some of them were tucked back behind his ear. She could see strands of dirty blond hair sticking out from beneath the black.

'Did he dye his hair black or dirty blond?'

Rosella gulped as she shamelessly checked her teacher out without any guilt.

“If you want to stay there on the door, then I’d prefer you leave since your presence is disturbing my peaceful reading moment.” His thick Italian accent dripped from his tone.

Clasping the book shut with a thud, he looked up to meet the caramel orbs which shined in the bright light.

Her eyes scanned his face. His face looked so much better without glasses but him wearing glasses made him insanely attractive too.

“Sorry.” She whispered and clutched her bag tightly making her way towards the seat which was in the far left corner in the back.

She wasn't gonna sit infront after all the drama and wasn't ready to meet the hateful glares from the students.

Settling herself down, she placed her face on her palm as she looked outside the window.

The wind harshly flew by. Closing her eyes for a brief moment, she inhaled the breezy air and soon drifted in her very own bubbly world.

His orbs scanned the girl with curiosity. When he came today, he heard gossips about her being bitchy and all.

Opening the book again, he started reading the untouched page.

A peaceful silence lingered upon them.

Several minutes later, the bell rang and the students entered the class, taking there seats.

No one sat with Rosella, she was alone but she liked it.

“I want you all to write the steps of Neuro surgery since we’ll be performing one in a few weeks and also I don't want any irrelevant and useless people around the patients.” He coldly spoke out. His steels drifted at her face with a known look and by than she knew he had directed those words to her.

Useless? She was anything but useless.

She was furious so without thinking she rolled her eyes at him which made his jaw clench.

The class went by quickly since Dr.Serafino had a pending meeting to end.

Rosella packed her bag and blew a breath out. She was going to confront him after her last class of the day.

She was going to explain. But she wasnt gonna apologize. Never.

With a determined mind she exited the class and went towards her next lecture.
