Bea shrugged herself off from him and they both came face to face with Nora Debock. She was almost in her mid-seventies but still looked agile with very flawless skin.

“Good to see you, Granny.” Daniel approached her and they both shared a long hug.

He chuckled, returning the hug. “You still saw me at the wedding.”

“That’s a lie. You were avoiding me.”

“I wanted to see you again but I was told you left even before the reception was over.” Nora accused, pulling away from the hug.

“Oh really?”

“Yeah,

“I think I had an emergency to attend to. So I left.”

“Okay, enough of the past, Nana. I want you to meet the woman I love so much, even though she dislikes me more than you can ever imagine. Her name is Beatrice but you can call her Bea.” Daniel introduced the two most important women in his life to each other.
