Although Skandar said if the park was nearby Charisa’s house, it was still three alleys from Charisa’s house. Moreover, Charisa had included the place in the first rank to be avoided by her, it was a park next to an old cemetery. The land owner had indeed relocated all of graves and bones to another cemetery, because the land would be used as a shopping centre later, but the former cemetery would keep remaining as cemetery for a Charisa Davis, the place where the ghosts met, Convention hall for supernatural creatures being. And the mature man asked her to come there alone at the time.
What kind of a future husband, the grumpy uncle was!?
Charisa was going to ignore the man's orders, the girl had been pacing the kitchen floor. Among she came by all her fears, or she let the man there so that the man came to his own house. Until the man’s strange sentence suddenly recorded by her lazy brain.
Propose to you?
What did the uncle mean to say? Why did he come to her residential area at the night? Charisa asked to herself.
The girl went to her bedroom immediately, she opened her cupboard and took out a white hoodie, which the girl put on then. Charisa turned the path toward her desk, she pulled a large drawer under the desk, looking for an item which she would need later. But the girl never found the item.
She had been looking for a flashlight from her summer school camp last year, but it hadn't been found. Charisa opened her cell phone, there were his two calls. She took a quick breath, she had already wasted his half an hour, and surely the man would be angry at her again. Charisa finally got out of her room without continuing to look for the flashlight.
She went to the park without a flashlight, while she was wearing her shoes, the girl typed a message that said she would come to the park soon. Charisa looked so rushed that she forgot to say goodbye to her sister-in-law. Amanda saw her from the top of the stairs on the second floor. She looked at her quizzically, Amanda never saw a Charisa Davis getting out at night alone.
The sound of Charisa's shoes stopped when the girl opened the gate, her hand movements also stopped when a human figure was caught by her round eyes. The man was standing behind her, next to his car which was parked in front of her house.
"Uncle Skandar?" Asked the girl to make sure.
The mature man turned his head when she called him. Charisa felt as if her round eyes were lying to her. No, Charisa didn't see him wrongly, because the man was indeed Skandar Hemingway, Skandar who looked back with a smile when he saw her.
"Why does uncle come here?" The girl walked closer to the man.
"If I do not come here, do you want for coming to the former cemetery land?" Exclaimed Skandar a little annoyed, the man checked his cell phone from inside his coat pocket.
"Stupid girl, I'm not cruel enough asking you to come over there at night. Your message has just come in, even though I've been here since you’ve called me at first." Skandar said again, the tall man complained.
"Forgive me, uncle..." Charisa could only bend her face, she knew she had made him wait a long time in the cold night air.
Skandar Hemingway looked at her by his bowed head, then a small smile appeared on the edge of his lips. The mature man touched the long ear of the white hoodie which his future wife was wearing. The girl in front of him always wore typical of high school student clothes, because the girl was still a teenager in fact.
"You look cute." Said Skandar unconsciously, and patted Charisa's hoodie ear softly.
Charisa responded by a confused look, what was her cuteness? Actually, saying sorry was not joke in her age. It was not cute. Noticing the young girl's gaze in front of him, Skandar immediately changed his face to his usual stoic face.
"Come on, follow me..."
The man pulled his future wife's arm toward him, and invited her to walk closer to his car. Skandar removed his hand from Charisa's arm, and walked alone across the passenger door in the front seat.
The cold man took out several items, and carried them all difficulty. The man walked back to the place where Charisa was standing alone. Seeing all Skandar's carry-on, Charisa Davis reflexively took a step back. The girl was so shocked to see it.
"What is it?" Charisa asked carefully.
"I have already said that I would propose to you, have you forgot?" Said Skandar quietly.
The man said in a stiff tone. But, all of the mature man's expression couldn't hide his expression at the night, the man's cheekbones were flushed. It was not a usual response when the man was usually annoyed, it was like something that was closely related to the wrong thing.
Charisa was still silent, the girl didn't know what kind of sentence to say. Her small round eyes traced goods which the man was carrying. He brought a cute big rabbit doll, several sets of pink, purple and white balloons had been blown and flown on the bright night. The cold man also brought a pretty large white roses bouquet. Charisa stared to the white rose bouquet for a long time, she had never seen such a beautiful white rose bouquet.
"This is for you." Said Skandar again.
The man gave the girl a bouquet of flowers and a rabbit doll, the girl's arm touched his hand as he gave the two items, the balloons that had been tied to the necklace of the white rabbit doll floated slightly as the holder switched hands.
Skandar looked at his future wife for a moment. Honestly he was already nervous doing all these kind of heroic deeds, this was his first time doing for a girl. Even though Charisa Davis was just a childish high school girl, the young girl was still a girl, and the girl in front of him was frozen at the time.
Did he buy the wrong thing?
Weren't these the right things to propose a girl?
“Please don't laugh, this is my first time proposing a girl. Did I prepare the wrong item? Why are you silent?" Asked the man to her panicle.
Charisa smiled to his words. She knew, all of those items were things that a man usually gave when proposing a girl, wasn't he a loyal viewer of dramas with her sister-in-law? However Charisa didn't know if it would feel like this. There was something warm which filled her chest silently, it felt tickled her stomach when he approached and gave all this to her. Why was being proposed by someone causing your stomach ticklish and you wanted to smile all the time?
"I never thought, uncle would propose me. I guessed because of our matchmaking, uncle wouldn't care about this kind of thing.”
"Do- Do you not like it?" Asked Skandar, he failed to understand.
"No... I really like these, it's so beautiful... I'm glad that uncle has prepared all of this."
The girl smiled to Skandar, she gave an innocent and beautiful smile to the man who was speechless because of it. Charisa kissed her rose bouquet, the hood of her hood fell off and revealed the girl's long hair, which flowed beautifully against the white rose petals background. The girl looked as beautiful as an angel.
Seeing Charisa, Skandar couldn't believe that God would pair him with a young high school girl alike Charisa. Yes, he would not argue back if his future wife was beautiful and sweet. Skandar nodded to the young girl’s words, until he almost forgot important something.
"I almost forgot, Risa."
Skandar took something from his pocket. The man took out a small red box and opened it, a white gold ring with a few small diamonds around it. Charisa was pounding to guess what the man would do next. The man did not kneel like the lead male’s scene in the drama which the man hated. Skandar Hemingway still stood by a strong style, but what Charisa would not forget how romantic this man was what Skandar Hemingway said after this.
“Charisa Davis, I can't promise that you will always be happy with me. Because human life is not a Walt Disney fairy tale which will live happily ever after, God will definitely test his people’s life. God will test our household later too." Skandar paused his words, the man looked into Charisa's eyes seriously.
"But believe me, when I become your husband, and you are my wife, I will do my best to spare you from hurt, sadness and unhappiness. I want to be the first to make sure you are well, to provide you with as much feelings and loves which I can ever give as your husband, that's all I can promise you.”
"Uncle..." Charisa said softly, the young girl really didn't know what to say. She was really touched by this man. She knew how responsible a Hemingway man was at the time!
"Maybe the beginning of our meeting was because of our families’ will, however after all, our lives will be our own. I want to hear from you, just from you." Skandar took a little step forward, the man had lifted the ring which Charisa had been staring at.
“Charisa Zwetta Davis, would you be my wife? Would you marry me?" Skandar said carefully, the words made Charisa's heart stimulated dozens of times to beat faster.
"Yes, uncle." Charisa nodded her head, a drop of tears fell, but they were happy tears. "I want."
Dad...
Dad, would you be happy to see us?
Charisa would be happy if dad was happy too...
"Thank you...." Said Skandar quietly. The man took Charisa's right hand gently, and put his ring on the girl's ring finger.
The young girl raised her head, she looked at the tall man in front of her. Charisa looked at the man's face for a moment. The mature man smiled sincerely to her, he made her smiling on him too. Charisa could feel the man's hand stroking her hair lightly a few times, it felt like she was protected.
Skandar observed his future wife’s behaviour who was looking at her ring. She hugged the rabbit doll that he gave to her earlier.
"Thank you for everything, uncle." Said Charisa which was replied by his smile.
"Is it only this? Aren't you two kissing?"
Someone chirped suddenly, from their right. The two people flinched in surprise. Charisa turned around reflexively. Noah, Amanda, even Yuta and Anna were standing near her house’s gate. They were very compact to watch Skandar and her as if they were a live soap opera.
"Kiss her, Skandar!"
"Charisa, congratulations... How romantic both of you are! Uwuwuwu...."
"You have sold out finally, Char!"
Charisa and Skandar heard their viewer giving comments, they stared and took a step away from each other. Skandar got embarrassed when Noah, his future brother-in-law, looked at him curiously over Charisa's friends.
“HEY!! Why are you all here?" Charisa shouted on the four of them. The girl lacked the silly sense of the people around her. She should usually be stupid one, shouldn’t she?
"Oh yeah, you guys can do the final touch. Let's leave them alone." Amanda said reflexively, and led the three people who still wanted to see the soap opera.
"Which final touch does she mean?" Charisa said parroted while she was looked at Amanda. She had trouble entering Yuta and Anna into her house’s door.
"I told you, we should be in the former cemetery at the time!" complained Skandar, he was patting his forehead.
Charisa, the girl was in a mall. Because her Uncle Skandar said that he would be late to pick her up, Charisa accepted Anna's asking to shop for some items at one of the big malls in Canberra. Since yesterday, her friend persuaded her to accompany her shopping. She said that it was impossible to ask to her mother to shop with her that day, so Anna asked for Charisa. "Will Yuta like it, Charisa?” asked Anna on Charisa. The short-haired girl looked into the shopping bag which she was carrying. The shopping bag made of white plastic bags got bigger at the bottom, of course because it contained a basketball. Charisa just laughed at Anna's behaviour, she was like a human’s head in plastic bag. "So this is for Yuta? Oh my god, why do you not buy for me too, Anna?” Charisa teased Anna, the girl pretended to be angry at Anna because she did not buy something for her. "Hemm, Charisa... I also give you gifts every your birthday,” complained Anna. “I und
Skandar, the man was sitting comfortably on the sofa in his living room. He and Charisa arrived at his family’s main house about two hours ago. The arrival of the two of them, which incidentally was the newlywed, was greeted so excitedly by the Skandar family and all of his house maid. The man was even troubled to meet his young wife. Charisa, the high school girl who became his wife won over the many residents of his house’s heart quickly. The girl even had a group of maids who really loved her. Skandar could only sigh in relief when he saw her, at least his wife did not feel awkward about the status she held now, being the wife of the successor to the only son Hemingway family line."Do you want me to get more strawberry pudding?" One of his maid offered him."No, you don’t," replied Skandar. The man was still full, they had just had a pretty good dinner."It is fine, sir.""Wait a moment," Skandar called his maid, the maid was
"We will departure half an hour later. You should prepare, Risa!" asked Skandar to his young wife. The man went into the bathroom of his room, when he had returned from the bathroom, he still found that his young wife had not changed clothes yet. The young girl was still busy turning her body in front of her make-up mirror in her only white towel."Uncle, come here ...,” said Charisa, her face was still facing to her makeup mirror. Her husband walked over to her. Skandar looked at the young girl for a moment. He had to get rid of his dirty thoughts. He had just been looking at the young girl's curves, Skandar could have already imagined what was behind the thick white cloth. All the private parts belonged to his wife, he could imagine.Skandar did not know why since he had married Charisa, he often looked like James when he was close to her. What a perverted James Bloom had given a bad influence on his brain."Uncle, see! Do you see?
At the Hemingway HomeCanberra, AustraliaNancy lay down on the sofa in her living room, the girl was reading her college book. Tomorrow, the day after tomorrow there was a quiz on the subject of strategic management, and she had not been studied at all yet. She was indeed different than her brother whom was very perfectionist and choleric in any case. Nancy was more relaxed about everything. No wonder, her family had a lot of hope to her genius brother, Skandar Alexander Hemingway. Nancy was actually happy to have a brother who was very smart in terms of lessons, so she could ask questions and ask to be taught difficult assignments related to her studies, especially because they were both in the same majors. But now her brother had married and didn't live with her anymore. He was confused now, did she had to be happy because she was the furthest away from her stubborn, crabby brother
"Your wound has healed, Charisa,” said Doctor Kim.The doctor was checking Charisa's left arm. The girl's wound had dried up, and the bandage on the girl's arm also looked new, even though yesterday she was worried if the young girl in front of her didn't change the bandage, because Charisa had not seen her since yesterday in her health room."Who changed your bandages, Charisa?”"A doctor near where I live, doctor,” replied the girl."Did your uncle accompany you?” asked Doctor Kim. The woman had completely took off Charisa's bandage.“Yes, he did, Doctor Kim. My uncle.”"Your uncle was good and responsible,” Doctor Kim praised Skandar, she looked at Charisa was so happy when she told about the girl's uncle.Charisa had stood up from the patient bed in the medical room. Doctor Kim raised her eyebrows. Friday was usually a lot of students who took additional course, but this girl had been alre
When he was going to get out of the elevator door. His eyes caught a brown hair girl, she would get into the elevator and pass him. The girl wore a fluffy white headband on her brown hair."Charisa!” exclaimed the man, and immediately turned the girl’s shoulder in front of him. The man's eyes widened. He turned out to be the wrong person. The girl in the white, furry headband was not the girl he was looking for. She was not a Charisa Davis. The man apologized to the young girl in front of him. The man then walked towards the exit of his apartment building. He was waiting for his personal driver who was taking his car in the basement. When he just stood in front of the entrance, looked at his watch, he seemed to see the girl's figure again in a black car moving away towards the gate of his apartment building. His eyes seemed to see Charisa’s figure who was sitting in the front seat of the car."How can you look anywhere in my eyes, Risa?&
