Kaylee pov

She places her hand on my back and stops me from moving further away from the door.

"He is not there and I have made everyone else leave, there isn't anyone out there in the hallway, and we won't meet anyone on the way to your room," she says when I turn my head to look at her.

She gives me a smile before she starts to walk with me to the door. I trust her in some way and when she opens the door and walks with me outside, I see the hallway is empty.

Letting out a breath I didn't know I was holding when she starts to walk with me down the hallway.

"I told you so," she says, leading me to a stair when we walk up a floor, and nowhere do we meet anyone on the way. Reaching the top of the stairs, we take to the left when she shows me to a room at the furthest end of the hall when she opens the door with a card.

"Here, I've got the best room for you. In here, no one will disturb you and no one can access this room without a card," she says, leading me into the room when I see a b
