52~ Painful discovery
“Babe, I’m sorry, I couldn’t stop myself. I just got so angry and acted on impulse,” Rita said as she placed her head on Chris’s shoulder as they sat in the back seat of his Maybach, going to the villa.
“It’s okay my love. I’ll protect you no matter what,” came Chris’s reply.
“I know you will.”
By the time they reached the villa, it was already 6 pm. Jasmine was seated in the sitting area watching TV. Despite having a TV in her room.
“Good evening bro, sis. How’s been your day?” Jasmine said the moment Chris and Rita walked through the entrance.
“Evening Jasmine, our day was okay, and what about yours? What did you do today?” Rita replied.
“It was okay, I was trying to draft some designs but lacked inspiration so I stopped and hoped something would come up later. Nothing did,” Jasmine said, looking down while playing with her fingers. She was in a large white t-shirt with black leggings and pink fluffy house slippers on her feet.
