61~ Escaped

Rita had decided to stay strong so that she could find an opportunity to escape.

They had been kept in the dark throughout their journey. The only time the lights were turned on was when food was brought for them. That was when she could finally see Sabrina’s face and features.

She seemed to be tall, with short caramel hair that was styled into a bob. Her large hazel-brown eyes twinkled with warmth as she spoke.

Her friendly demeanor made Rita feel comfortable sitting close to her. There were also other women in the room but they meekly curled up to themselves.

Rita felt sorry for the frightened-looking women. She wondered how many women had suffered such a terrible fate. They must have suffered a lot.

When the ship finally reached its destination, Rita’s heart sank when she realized they were brought to an island in the middle of nowhere. The place didn’t even look like it was habitable.
