In the hospital, Christian had a brief check up with the doctor. This is just a general checkup after his operation. This time when he entered the doctors cabin, he didn't find Esther. The doctor was alone. A hint of disappointment flashed in his heart, which he squashed immediately.

"Mr. Deluca, please come in" the doctor said in his usual boisterous tone. Christian nodded and settled down in the designated seat while the doctor began his check up. Just when he was wrapping up, Esther knocked and entered the room.

"Doctor, we have prepared the operation theater" Esther informed with practiced steadiness in her tone even when she noticed Christian sitting there.

"Alright, thank you Ms. Adams" the doctor thanked before he diverted his attention towards Christian again. Esther left quietly and closed the door after her.

"Mr. Deluca, everything seems to be good. You recovered with out an issue" he declared before placing his equipments back to where they belong.
