Leo took her hand while carrying Mary with the other.

“Where's your brother?” Ellie asked.

“There!” Mary pointed her finger to the forest. Suddenly, Ellie had a bad feeling as the growls came from that direction.

“Stay with Dahlia and take Mary with you.” Leo instructed them. He took off immediately towards the forest.

The siren kept blaring, forcing everyone to drop whatever they did and hide.

“Ellie, let's go. Alpha can take care of himself.” Dahlia grabbed her arm. It forced her to focus on jogging while holding Mary in her arms.

She couldn't believe what was happening yet, a part of her knew what they meant.

“Will Leo be,” she suppressed the doubts she had and prayed that he would be alright.

“Alpha Leo is stronger than those rogues. Don't worry, this will be over before you know it.” Mary beamed with confidence while speaking. Though young she knew when to give encouragement.

“Thanks, Mary. What are rogues and why are you calling him Alpha?” Her eyebrow scrunched at the words they were throwing to her.

Leo tried to explain some of the things she saw but this wasn't part of it.

“Keep running, Ellie. I will answer your questions when we are in the safehouse.” Dahlia interjected. She was holding three children in her arms as if they were light as a feather.

“Alright.” She hastened and closed the distance between her and the others.

The sirens blared continuously now, unlike before when there had been gaps between the sounds.

The safehouse they were heading to was located at the foot of the mansion. A steel door swung open, revealing a staircase that led down to the basement.

“We're almost there, Dahlia.” She looked back and saw the old woman cornered by two wolves.

In a panic, she rushed to guide Mary toward the stairs. “Go inside.” She kissed Mary’s forehead before sprinting back to Dahlia and the three children.

Unable to fight the wolves barehanded, she picked up a rock and threw it at the head of the gray wolf. It whimpered and collapsed, losing consciousness.

The other wolf turned to face her, and in a quick move, Dahlia scratched its head with her sharp nails.

Just like that, they were able to defeat the two rogue wolves.

A sudden pain in her shoulders sent shivers to her body. Her eyelids became heavy and everything turned dark. “Ellie!” she heard a voice cry out before she fell into the abyss.

Leo rushed to stop the attackers from reaching the pack center. The last time it happened, he unleashed his beast and lost control.

This time he needed to be smart. Those rogues were no match for him.

A large red wolf jumped onto him but his claws reached its stomach and he ripped it open.

He shifted to his wolf form and helped the warriors suppress the attackers.

‘Alpha there are a hundred of them based on initial reports.’ Ray reported via speakers they installed in the forest.

He howled to attract those rogues towards his location.

Sure enough, dozens came after him. He smirked as he tore them one by one. The warriors were able to defeat the rest of the attackers.

As they went back, he saw one lone wolf surpassed their defense and attacked her. “Ellie!” His heart raced at the thought of losing her.

He had made dozens of deals to take her in. A rogue mustn't ruin his plans.

He rushed to her but he already bit her shoulders. Enraged by his own mistake, his claws elongated and he lost control of himself.

The rogue didn't stand a chance as Leo tore him to pieces. Even though he tried to dodge, Leo knew where he'd go. No wonder werewolves called him a monster in disguise.

His unrelentless pursuit halted when the werewolf took his last breath.

He shifted back to his human form and ran towards Ellie. “I need the medical team here!” He roared.

He held Ellie in his hand and clipped the loose strands of hair onto the back of her ears. Her face was drained of color already.

“Calm down, Leo.” Dahlia tried to sooth his anger. She knew how hard it was for him.

“How? I just got her.” His eyes were blurry from the tears he was holding back.

“You will know soon. Everything has a reason.” Dahlia replied. Her cryptic words gave him hope.

He knew she saw something when their hands touched but didn't press on it.

The doctors and nurses came. Then tended to her wound and lifted her in the stretcher.

“Alpha, this woman is transitioning already. She is fighting the venom but it has reached her bloodstream already.” The doctor explained.

“Will she make it back?” Leo didn't want to think about it but he had to prepare himself.

“Given her lineage there is a big chance she can make it. Her body is well built even though she was treated like a human.” He explained. The way he phrased things meant a lot for Leo who was on the verge of killing the rogues they captured.

“She is human.” Leo declared.

Everyone gasped at the information. It was rare for an Alpha to seek out humans as a wife. No one expected it from their Alpha who was sought out by shewolves all over the kingdom.

“We will do our best, Alpha. Our team is ready to bring her to the hospital.” The Doctor instructed his team. They never cared for a human so everything was new to them.

“Take her to the hospital.” He looked at the medical team who were attending to Ellie like a hawk.

“Dr. Karl, remember your life depends on her survival.” He reminded him. He would do everything to keep her by his side even if she doesn't know who he was.

“Alpha Leo, your wounds need to be checked too.” Ray pointed at his shoulders.

“I'm fine. This is just a scratch, my wolf can heal it. I don't need medical care.” He shrugged it off.

  • Forced to marry Alpha Leo   Hunt

“Who does he think he is, ordering me to train? Hmph.” Michelle slammed the door to her room, the sound echoing through the hall. Her neon-colored dri-fit shirt was standing out against the bleak, wooden backdrop of the corridor.“Just wait. I will crush that Hunt!” she bellowed at the top of her lungs, her boots thudding against the floorboards as she marched out of the mansion. The morning air bit at Michelle’s skin, sharp with the scent of pine and the rhythmic, heavy thud of bodies hitting the earth. Ray walked ahead with a steady, weathered gait. Michelle trailed behind him, her heart a frantic drum against her ribs.At the training grounds, the sheer scale of the Pack’s world stopped her cold. Warriors moved with a fluid, terrifying grace that made her own movements feel clunky and amateur. She retreated to a weathered wooden bench, her fingers twisting restlessly in her lap. She felt like a fraud in borrowed gear.“This isn't training, this is a death camp,” she muttered.Ray s

  • Forced to marry Alpha Leo   Revenge - served in a silver platter

Leo slammed his hand against the wall, pinning Michelle’s back against the cold surface. He leaned in until his lips hovered just breaths away from hers, his heat radiating through her thin shirt.“Don’t test me, Ellie,” he growled, a low vibration she felt deep in her chest. “I take what I want.”Without another word, he pulled away and left. Michelle remained pressed against the wall, her breath coming in shallow hitches as his receding footsteps echoed down the hallway. Her heart hammered against her ribs; his scent clung to her skin, making her head spin with a mix of fury and unwanted adrenaline.“What just happened?” she whispered to the empty space. She shook her head, trying to clear the fog. “Stop it. You have to put up with him. We have nowhere else to go.”She had no family left to turn to and not a cent to her name. She was a stray in every sense of the word. Taking a shaky breath, Michelle smoothed her hair and forced a neutral mask onto her face before heading downstairs

  • Forced to marry Alpha Leo   Morning after...

Warm sunlight filtered through the window as Michelle stared blankly at the ceiling. She was in an unfamiliar room, and a steady, radiating heat emanated from the body beside her. When she finally found the courage to turn her head, her eyes nearly bulged out of her head at the sight. She swallowed hard, her gaze tracing over toned muscles and a jawline sharp enough to cut glass. “Leo?” she hissed in a panicked whisper. How had she ended up here? Her thoughts raced, trying to piece together the hazy fragments of her memories with him. His eyelids fluttered, and his mouth curved as he stirred from a deep sleep. “Good morning, Ellie,” he said, his voice husky and low. He smiled at her—a slow, devastatingly handsome look. “How long was I sleeping?” she asked, her voice unintentionally breathy. “Just a couple of hours,” he replied. Then, under his breath, he added, “More like a nap.” “Say what?” “Nothing.” He rolled onto his side to face her fully, propping his head up on one hand

  • Forced to marry Alpha Leo   I can't contain it anymore

A huge cloud loomed over Michelle’s head. She couldn't bring herself to smile in front of Leo. Yet, here she was grinning as they strolled the village. “Leo…” a million questions swirled in her mind but she didn't know where to start. His callous hand brought warmth as he held hers firmly. Giving her strength to speak up again. “What happened to me? My body… it changed.” She let her hair fall on her face. Covering her left side. “You transitioned to a werewolf. You need to shift soon.” He paused for a bit and looked around. “I'm sorry for leaving you earlier. I should have been there when you woke up.” His eyes bore into her soul as he looked at her. The world seemed to stop when he spoke.Werewolf. She used to think it was just a fairytale. How could she become one? Though her strength and the changes in her body all pointed at something happening inside her. “I'm used to looking after myself. No need to apologize.” She kept holding on to his hand. Even though she wanted to run

If you have eyes on her, tell me your location.’He stepped back outside to personally find her.Within seconds, a couple of pack members had told him where she was, but no one was with her.“Ray, prepare the warriors and the trucks. • Forced to marry Alpha Leo   Oopsie

Michelle woke up with a throbbing head and hot flushes. Her thin nightdress was drenched in sweat. The same went for her bed and blankets. When she checked her air conditioner, it was already on the lowest setting.“What's happening to me?” she asked. Her mind racked her memory. The last thing she remembered was being bitten by a wolf. Not just any ordinary wolf, but a werewolf at that. She lay back on her bed and watched the reflection of sunlight move in the ceiling.A knock on her door drew her attention to it.“Who's there?” Ellie asked timidly, not wanting to attract any attention to herself.“Ms. Ellie, thank goddess you're awake. Lunch is ready downstairs,” Ray informed her.“I'll be there in a couple of minutes. Thank you, Ray,” she informed him. She groaned as she moved her body. She clasped the handle of her bed, and the wood broke into splinters.“What the —” Michelle was stunned. She only applied gentle pressure, nothing to warrant its destruction. She walked towards her c
