Jessica got fed up with Kim wanting to flaunt her bracelet, so she simply nodded and then went to work.

Just when she was about to enter the subway station, an irritating screech sounded in her ears. Jessica turned around and saw a white Porsche approaching her. The driver was none other than Thomas.

He drove the car slowly to match her walking pace and gave her a friendly smile. “Where are you going? Need a lift?”

Jessica had only met Thomas once at the park before this and she had never seen him before. She was not avoiding him or whatsoever. They just never crossed paths until now.

However, after knowing that Thomas was the second son of the Waynes, Jessica felt awkward around him. She did almost marry him after all.

Jessica smiled and pointed at the subway station. She made it clear that she was taking the subway and rejected his offer. She turned away and got on the escalator down to the station. Her figure slowly disappeared beyond the station.

It was rush hour, thus
