The nurse at the cashier had a bizarre look on her face while Florian and I stood there on the counter, waiting for the total computation of our bill.
Florian insisted so hard to leave the hospital first thing in the morning. He really couldn't stay on his bed for too long, just laying and not doing anything productive to consume his day. Since he's firm about it, we left after lunch.
The nurse scanned the monitor again before giving us a puzzled look. "Uh... it says here that your bill has been fully paid."
"Huh?" I gasped, leaning towards the counter to peek at her monitor. It was a futile move though because of the huge glass wall dividing us.
"It's already paid since yesterday," she repeated.
