Sandy Sabrina looked at me with her mouth full of pancakes, that she was eat the hospital cafeteria.

Sandy stared at me first, then a huge smile appeared on her face. “Dr Damien, I have seen him with a few doctors playing cards.I also heard hhe'sery gogood. Youhould give it a try”.

I just want to stay away from him now, he loves someone, so I can't be selfish to keep hanging around him despite knowing that, he only sees me as a mere student who loves bugging him.

I heaved a sigh. “Maybe I’ll just ask Mila if she’s good at it.”

“Why? You could just ask Damien, unless you are not really that interested in winning at all. “But I don’t want to disturb him, for sure he has a lot of things to do than playing a game of cards with me.”

My eyes widened when Sandy suddenly called Dr. Damien who just entered the cafeteria. “S-San!”

“Dr. Damien, over here!”

“It was already too late before I could stop her. Dr. Damien smiled and started walking over to our table. I couldn't bring myself to look at him. I felt nervous, and I don’t even know why.

“Hi, Dr. Damien!”

“Hi girls, how are you doing?” he asked.

“Well, we’re definitely fine. How about you? I'm good as well. We would just like to know if you are busy?”

“Huh? Well, yeah. I’m always busy anyway so there’s nothing new about it.” He laughed.

I glared at Sandy. “I told you,” I mumbled.

“Ok! Why does it feel like you guys need my help? Is everything ok? Dr Damien asked why looking at me

“E-Er.. N-N—“Actually, Dr. Damien, you’re good at playing cards, right?”

“Hmm. I’m good at playing it, but I don’t think I’m still good at it. Although I can still play it. But work has left me no time to do anything, so I play with my younger brother whenever I have time. Why do you ask?”

Sandy winked at me. “Because Eva wants you to teach her how to play it, Dr Damien.”

“Huh? Eva wants to learn it?” he was already smiling at me and I could feel the butterflies in my stomach. “Are you planning to take part in any competition?

“N-No, I-I just want to learn it…” I mumbled.

“Sure, I’ll teach you. When do you want us to play?”

My eyes widened. “H-Huh? B-But you said you’re busy. Y-You don’t have to push yourself to it, i-it’s not a big deal, thou .”

“It’s alright, Eva. I’m willing to teach you how to play.”

“Come on, Eva! You can do it! She said she’ll just see you once our shifts are over,” she said.

Dr. Damien smiled again. “See you.”

I had no choice but to nod. “T-Thank you so much…”

Dr. Damien finally walked away, and I immediately glared at Sandy. She looked at me, pretending to be innocent. “Why? Did I do something wrong? He’s obviously more than willing to do it, anyway.”

“But that’s because he’s just naturally kind. He can’t say no to everyone.”

“Really? I don’t think so. I think he can’t just say no to you.”

My face blushed. “W-What are you

Lucky, two hotties are going crazy over you.”

I just shook my head. “We should head back inside now.”
