15. Reality

Sipping her coffee, Fianna roamed her eyes around her two frozen friends. After adding the details of her story, they both seem to have their minds entangled. 

Grinning, she titled her head. "Hello? Are you still there? You should drink your coffees while they are hot. Otherwise they will fret and will also freeze." She half jested.

"So....you are saying that your fath- I mean Chua adopted you for the purpose of using you to make his business prosper?" Danae repeated in disbelief. 

Franz was also beyond speechless but was able to grasp the information. Because he knew this is how the world of business revolves. He just can't believe why it has to be his innocent Fianna. He is aware of how intelligent she is, but when it comes to business, she knew nothing. She can be compared to a newborn baby starting to learn about this cruel world.
