"Not good?! I hope she gets worse! I hope she dies! She's a killer! Why are you letting her live?"

Danie's first encounter with Lucas was when she was still in coma and he just got back from overseas. That time, he had just learned that Jane died and Ruth was in ICU like Danie. He was so mad at her that he attempted to cut off her oxygen supply. Danie learnt of this through Esther.

But those words spoken by Lucas, Danie could still remember clearly as though she was fully conscious that time. In reality, she stayed comatose for another eighteen days before finally waking up. She didn't know how was that possible, but she really remembered his voice.

Their next encounter was when Tabitha just brought her home. She was looking at Lucas and Jane's engagement photo when the former suddenly arrived and almost successfully choked her to death. 

From that time, in every chance that he got, Lucas targeted Danie with a purpose of ending her life. But
