The Wall

The light kissed the earth with its golden excellence and comforting warmth as the army marched on from Elkshire towards Pyre. Avera stood among the ranks, walking on alongside the people in their steady march onward into battle with Benjamin at their head. The clouds began to gather and the light dimmed as they approached the maurium capital. The dark haze which overshadowed the city began to impede her view, and she wondered how they would fight when they could barely see. 

“We’re losing visibility,” Kypher commented, and she could sense the tension in his voice.
