Sienna’s POV

The dining table in front of me was now filled with the dishes Liam had just finished. The savory, fragrant aroma filled the dining room, making my stomach, which was still not very strong, feel the rumbling. Liam arranged everything neatly, even pouring soup into small bowls before sitting across from me.

"Noah, let's wash our hands before eating," he said softly, looking at the child.

Noah immediately jogged to the sink and returned with a beaming face. "Okay, Daddy!" he exclaimed cheerfully. He then sat down beside me again, staring impatiently at the food.

I just watched in silence. It felt strange sitting like this, at Liam's dining table, with Liam and Noah like a complete family. But in reality… we'd been apart for a long time, and there were many wounds that hadn't fully healed. However, this simple warmth filled my chest.

"Please eat, don't be shy," Liam said, glancing at me. His gaze was serious yet warm, as if he truly wanted to make sure

Sienna’s POV Noah's words made me burst into sheer happiness. With ease, Noah could fill the air between us and make our home feel like a new place in heaven. For a moment, Mrs. Wilson looked at me like I was saying something.I could see her gratitude through her gentle smile. The fact that this small family finally found themselves at the same dining table after years of being apart is a wonderful sight to behold. We sat together. At the far end of the table, there was Liam, Noah and myself facing Mrs. Wilson. At first, it felt like a complete family, something that had never happened to me for ages.As she poured soup into my bowl, Mrs. Wilson said, "Sienna, I heard you're back to writing. What happened?”"I looked at her with some astonishment, and she said yes," I could. “I've just completed a manuscript for securing prestigious writing competitions.”"I'm glad to hear that," she exclaimed softly. "Liam, I heard you." Your writing abilitie

Sienna's POV Liam spruced up his son's hair with a soft, head-shape. "All right, all right, and let us get inside first. Grandma's garden isn't going anywhere." Their exchange was so funny that I couldn't stop laughing. The tension that had been lingering was no longer as strong. Mrs. Wilson's eyes were filled with tenderness, reminiscent of a grandmother's sentence when she saw her son and grandson together again. With a soft whisper, she told me that Liam had undergone significant changes. She pointed out that it was difficult for him to communicate with someone like him in the past. His ability to laugh with ease is remarkable.I smiled faintly. “Yes. I've noticed it too, Mom. He's gentler now." Slowly nodding, Mrs. Wilson replied, “Maybe I just have to thank you.”I ceased speaking, my gaze flickered at Liam, who was now giving Noah up in his arms. They were sweet and heavy, yet they held a gentle weight on my chest. I wasn’t sure I deser

Sienna's POV As the car came to a stop just before the large house, I felt my heart rate slightly rise. Then it fell. After switching off the engine, Liam looked at me and asked, "Are you prepared?" I took a deep breath, trying to relax my nerves. "Ah, okay. I'm prepared." Noah was already impatient and sat in the back seat. "Mommy, please!" Trying to unbuckle his seatbelt alone, I said, "I want to see my grandmother!" While standing up.Liam aided him by smiling and offering assistance. "Noah, take it easy. You will be greatly appreciated by your grandmother.”Upon opening the window, I observed an expansive front garden with neat ornamental plants on either side. The view was stunning. The porch lights that illuminated the cream walls made it feel as though the house had been freshly slept. It was quite cozy and comfortable at the same time. There was only a small shadow of someone behind the curtain, who might be Liam's mother, waiting for us.Out

Sienna's POV I smiled, a little pouty. "Uh oh, you didn't go to cream with Mommy?!" Noah's eyes caught with excitement as he gazed at me and quickly said, "Mommy, I saved some for you!" He seemed afraid that I would be upset. My laughter accompanied my pins and his cheek. "Oh, no! could even be heard. What a good boy." With laughter streaming out of me, Noah quickly slid into my arms and ran towards the coffee table. He then opened his bag to present me with something special. "I received a gold star today," he said, while smooching on.I gazed at him and exclaimed, "That's fantastic! Mommy's so proud of you." His eyes shone and he dashed to the kitchen, saying, "Let me put this on the fridge for my father!" He exclaimed. His lively little form occupied my gaze as I watched, still wincing and smiling. Noah's presence always made the house feel more lively, with his laughter and footsteps filling any empty space that had previously filled.Footstep

Sienna's POV A couple of young adults shared a slice of cake and laughed at each other on the same table. They seemed so uncomplicated and effortless, as if the world held no importance. I smiled watching them. I thought maybe I had forgotten what it was like just to sit with someone and have a good time, not worrying about tomorrow. However, I am now inclined towards learning again slowly. The same clerk came to my table, carrying the completed cake. “Your cake is done already!” She replied. With a sweet and simple design, the cake was beautifully decorated and displayed with an indelible message of appreciation.I inspected it briefly, then smiled with pride. It's possible that I was meant to receive those words as well as Liam' mother, for the small act of bravery that had propelled me forward.A few minutes later, the cake was neatly boxed up in a cream envelope tied back with soft pink ribbon. I made the payment, thanked the clerk, and left the building.A

Sienna's POV Our conversation with Liliana lasted almost two hours before we parted ways in front of the café. Her smile was typical of hers, and I gave her a gentle wave.Prior to getting into her car, she urged people not to forget about their vacation."I chuckled and nodded in agreement. Let's go over it." As she drove off, I stood on the sidewalk for a moment. I was under the gentle peat-and-white breeze from the afternoon, with lingering coffee aromas from downstairs and the scent of fresh flowers from outside. I wasn't ready to go home yet. I experienced a warm yet nervous sensation when I remembered Liam's words about his mother wanting to meet me that morning. This was a heartfelt sentiment. As I walked, I felt the gentle sun set behind me and gently patted my face on the sidewalk. Despite the busy traffic across the street, there were only a few sounds of footsteps, engine noises, and laughter from dozens of students as they exited one of the bookstor
