LOGINNoah's POV
That day the last class ended earlier than usual. Some students rushed out of the room in a hurry. I stayed seated for a bit longer pretending to tidy up my books. I was actually gathering my courage to talk to Rachel.Since morning I had felt more confident because Rachel’s number was already saved in my phone. We had even exchanged a messages about the lecture material at noon and it felt nice. When Rachel stood up and put her book into hSienna's POV Rose's eyes quickly went to Liam and Edward. “When those two begin chatting about work, they can totally forget the time.”“That’s right,” I said with a chuckle. I had watched Liam do just that many times.Rose grinned once more and softly switched the topic. “Let's chat about something nicer.”"Like what?" I asked with interest. I looked around the pretty room for dancing. She pointed to the stuff around us "Like this party. What do you think?I glanced at the room again. "It's nice; I really like the blooms'Rose grinned happily at my praise. “I picked all of them by myself”"Seriously?" I said, truly amazed. The ornaments now looked more special knowing that she had picked them herself."Yes," Rose said with joy. She seemed glad that I had seen.“Then you have great taste.” I said to her truthfully. Her smile got even bigger.
Sienna's POV The evening had finally arrived. Since the afternoon, I had been getting ready to attend the wedding anniversary party of one of Liam's clients.I finally chose the black dress we had bought a few days earlier. It was simple yet elegant, gently following the curves of my body while the skirt fell long enough to nearly touch the floor.I added a pair of small earrings that Liam had bought for me as well. When I stepped out of the bedroom, Liam, who had been waiting in the living room, immediately turned toward me.He fell silent for several seconds. I smiled shyly.“What?”Liam slowly stood up. “Wow.”I laughed softly. “You're exaggerating.”“I'm serious.” He walked closer to me.“You look incredibly beautiful.”I touched my hair. “Really?”“Very.”I smiled. “You look handsome too.”Liam was wearing a black suit with a white shirt. His hair was neatly styled, and he looked incredibly charming. For a moment, I almos
Sienna's POV I became silent for a moment. It was rather hard to answer his question.Of course I liked it. Who would not be delighted to have such a husband?I simply was not used to it."I don't know."Liam approached. "Don't know?""I'm simply not used to it."He smiled softly. "You will get used to it."I raised an eyebrow. "Why?""Because I will spoil you even more often."I immediately burst out laughing. "Just don't regret it tomorrow.""Why would I regret it?""Because your wife can be rather expensive."Liam considered it for a second. "I think that I can afford it."I shook my head laughing. "You."The saleswoman working at the boutique nearby also smiled. "Your husband is very attentive, ma'am."I immediately became a little embarrassed. Liam answered rather casually."He should be."I looked at him. "You do it intentionally in order to embarrass me, right?""Why should you be embarrassed?""Forget it."Once again, I saw my own reflection in the mirror. The ivory dress was
Sienna’s POVThe weekend finally came. Even in the morning, I noticed that Liam had been unusually excited. Not even after having breakfast, he kept reminding me that I should hurry and get ready. While I was still fixing my hair in front of the mirror, he asked me again.“Are you ready?”I turned to look at him. “I am.”Liam had a very big smile on his face while standing in the doorway. He was much too happy with whatever he had planned for the day.“Good. Let’s go.”I took my bag and started walking towards him. “What are we heading to first?”“Secret.”I sighed. “Don’t tell me you’ve already made all the arrangements.”All Liam did was smile. A little later, our car stopped at what was quite an expensive boutique.Right away, I started looking at the place we were at. This particular place was elegant enough to scare me before even entering the place.“Liam.”“What?”“This is an expensive boutique.”“I know.”“We are attending only one party for one night.”“And?”I shook my head.
Sienna's POV Liam nodded instantly. “I’ll wait.”His response made me smile again. I lowered my eyes for a second, thinking about our anniversary party. But then I took a look at what I was wearing. “But I think I should get a new dress.”Liam instantly nodded. “Tomorrow, we’re going to a boutique.”I laughed. “Tomorrow?”“Yes.”"Why are we in such a hurry?""We need to arrange everything."I shook my head. “I still have several dresses at home.”"I know.""So we don’t need to buy a new one.”Liam instantly shook his head. "We do need to buy it.”I looked at him. “Why?”"Because you need to look gorgeous.""I can look gorgeous in one of the dresses I already have.""A new one would suit you more.”I laughed lightly. “Liam.”“Tomorrow, we’re getting one.”“I don’t want to spend money for one single party.”"It's not only about the dress.”I immediately looked at him suspiciously. “What else?”"Sh
Sienna's POV The night got late by the time I did all I had to do at the place. One after one, the kids had gone to their own rooms.A few workers were still checking if they were resting wel͏l before shutting off the lights in the hall. I stood close by a door of one room, looking at a small boy who had wept earlier that day when he got a shot. Now, he was snoozing calmly while holding a tiny stuffed toy. I grinned softly.“Good night.”I shut the door slowly. After I checked that all was okay, I went back to the front room.“I’m going home now.”One of the workers shook her head. “Be safe, Mrs. Sienna”I grabbed my bag. “We’ll go on again tomorrow”“Yes.”I was just ready to go when I heard a noise from a car outside the place. I knew right away that it was its motor.A bit later, Liam's car came to a halt in front of the gate. The door s
Sienna's POV I followed them to the front door. Liam opened it, holding Noah’s back so the child wouldn’t run out too fast. Before stepping outside, Liam turned slightly.“Sienna, take care of yourself.”I smiled gently. “Always.”The door closed. And the house felt a little
Sienna's POV Liam burst out laughing, nearly choking. “See? That’s why you have to eat other things too. Daddy bought salad as well.”Noah stared at the bowl of salad as if it were an alien object from another planet. “But that’s leaves.”“Leaves that make you stronger,” Li
Liam's POV I snapped back to attention and shook my head lightly. “No. Everything is fine.”She nodded, as professional as ever. She didn’t ask further, didn’t try to guess her boss’s thoughts like most secretaries might. Sometimes, I appreciated that. When the boarding announcement
Sienna's POV I slowly turned the next page, but my eyes lingered more on Noah’s face than on the pictures. His eyelids were starting to feel heavy, though he was still trying to keep them open. His fingers clutched the edge of my sleeve, a small habit that always appeared when he was about t
