Aria’s POV

“Kaelen...”

His name was the only thing I could manage to say.

His hand found mine.

The moment his fingers touched mine, a strange calm washed over me, and at the same time, my heart pounded so hard it felt like it might burst through my chest. Then, slowly, carefully, he reached into the small box and pulled out the diamond ring.

My breath caught in my throat as he slid it onto my finger himself. The way it fit… it felt like it belonged there, like it had always been meant for me. I couldn’t stop staring at it for a moment, letting the sparkle catch the light and the movement of his fingers.

He closed my hand gently around the ring, his grip firm but careful. His hand was rough, bigger than mine, and slightly calloused, but it didn’t feel harsh. It felt safe.

When I finally looked up at him, I saw something in his expression that made me swallow hard.

It was admiration. I didn’t realize how much I craved that kind of look until I saw it in his eyes. It was rare for him to

  • Forsaken With His Pup   Chapter 143: Twins in Peril

Aria’s POVMy head throbbed, pounding against my skull that made it hard to think, but then a memory hit me like a physical blow to the chest. The twins. I forced myself to sit up, my muscles screaming in protest.I looked at Aiden, my hands trembling as I reached out to grab him. My voice was raspy, barely a whisper at first.“T-They…” I choked out, my fingers digging into his sleeve.“They took them. The witches… they have our twins.”The color drained from his face instantly.“They… they dragged our children away,” I said, my voice shaking. “They’re looking for a new ritual site. I saw them…holding our babies. Over there,” I said, pointing in the direction.“They’re going to use them,” I whispered, “They’re going to sacrifice our children for the ritual!”His eyes went wide, filled with a mix of horror and pure, unadulterated rage.“No!” he shouted, the sound echoing off the debris around us.He was about to run toward it when I stopped him. “Wait! It’s too dangerous! You’re nothi

  • Forsaken With His Pup   Chapter 142: A Mother’s Breaking Point

Aria’s POVMy children…Every time I breathed in, the scent of blood filled my lungs and made my stomach churn. It did nothing to ease the growing anxiety building in my chest.“I will never bow down to someone like you!” I growled, my snarl carrying all the way to her.“Don’t you dare touch them,” I spat, “You have no right to even lay a finger on them!”Olivia didn’t flinch. Instead, she tightened her grip on the twins, a cruel smile pulling at her lips. She looked at me like I was something pathetic she’d found on the bottom of her shoe.“Oh? You want me to let go of them?” she asked, her voice mocking and light.“Even though you’re such a terrible mother? You left them behind. You left them unprotected, Aria! You knew the enemies were out there, lurking in the shadows, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. And yet, here we are!”She took a step toward me, her eyes cold.“You don’t deserve to be called a mother at all. Honestly? You just deserve to die.”We began to circle each

  • Forsaken With His Pup   Chapter 141: A Wolfless Alpha

Aiden’s POVI stared out the window, my eyes fixed outside but seeing absolutely nothing.I looked at my reflection. I looked pale, tired, and hollow. How low had I fallen? It was my fault.I was a terrible partner to the woman I loved. I was a terrible father to children who deserved a hero, not a shell of a man.And most importantly, I was a terrible leader. I had failed everyone. My people…But the thing that really twisted the knife was Aria.Even after everything I’ve done, she still chose Kaelen over me.It hurt.I kept asking myself the same questions over and over:What did I miss?I had changed. I tried to be better, to be the man she needed, but it clearly didn’t matter to her.I closed my eyes and tried to reach inward, searching for that familiar spark, that growl in the back of my mind.Nothing.My wolf was gone. The silence inside my own soul was deafening. Without him, I couldn’t even catch a hint of Aria’s scent in the air. I was just a man. A weak, ordinary man trappe

  • Forsaken With His Pup   Chapter 140: No Time Left

Aria’s POV“Wake up. You need to wake up.”The voice wasn’t coming from the woods or the wind.It was coming from inside my own head, vibrating through my skull until my eyes snapped open.I gasped, my lungs burning as if I had been underwater for minutes.I scrambled to sit up, my hands digging into the cold, damp soil.“H-Huh? What?” I whispered, my voice cracking.I looked around frantically. It was still dark. The moon was high, casting long, skeletal shadows across the clearing, but the air felt different now.It felt heavy, like a storm was about to break.“You have to go. You have to chase her. It’s already too late.”The voice of the Aristea was colder this time, more urgent. It felt like a command that my soul was forced to obey. I felt a sudden, sharp pain in my chest that forced me to my knees.I crawled backward, my breath coming in short, ragged huffs. My heart was drumming against my ribs so hard it hurt.Olivia. I could feel her presence in the distance, a dark, oily s

  • Forsaken With His Pup   Chapter 139: No One Can See Us

Aria’s POVI bit my bottom lip, hard.My legs were still shaking from the way he’d just worked me over, but I wasn’t going to back down.I had already agreed to this, and honestly, seeing him lying there looking up at me—hot, disheveled, and completely focused on me—made my blood boil all over again. If he wanted me to take control, I was going to give it to him.“Fine,” I whispered, though it was more of a challenge than a surrender.I shifted my weight, hovering over him. I reached down, my fingers trembling as I guided his length to my entrance. He was so ready, slick and burning hot against my inner thighs.I took a deep breath and lowered myself slowly, taking him in. The moment he slid inside, my eyes rolled back into my head.“Oh my,” I gasped. He was huge. He felt thicker and longer than I had ever imagined, stretching me out and filling every bit of the empty ache inside me. It was an overwhelming, heavy sensation that made my stomach flip.“Fuck,” he cursed, the word vibrati

  • Forsaken With His Pup   Chapter 138: Kaelen’s Spot

Aria’s POVHe reacted instantly.I expected him to carry me back toward the palace, through the grand hallways and into the safety of a locked bedroom. But as he lifted me into his arms, he didn’t head for the stone walls.Instead, he started walking toward the edge of the grounds. My heart hammered against my ribs when I realized where we were going. He stopped under the heavy, low-hanging branches of a tree and carefully lowered me onto the grass.“K-Kaelen, wait,” I gasped, my voice shaking.I looked around frantically, “What are you doing? Someone might see us. We’re right out in the open.”The palace was still visible in the distance, its windows glowing because of the lights. The wind rustled the leaves above us, and every small sound felt like a footstep. I was terrified that a guard or a late-night servant would stumble upon us.“Relax,” he murmured. His voice was low, vibrating in his chest as he hovered over me.“No one is going to see us here, Aria. This is my spot. I come
