Aria’s POV

“Please… take care of her. I can’t lose her! She’s pregnant, and I don’t want anything bad to happen to our twins!”

The first thing I heard was a voice, fragile but sharp, floating in and out of my consciousness. It was familiar, but distant, like I was underwater and only catching fragments.

Someone replied quickly, “We’re doing everything we can, Alpha,” but the words melted together in my foggy mind.

More voices followed—some were calm, some were panicked, and some were rushing around like the world was on fire. I couldn’t move. I couldn’t speak. I just floated there, listening.
