Zed had gone through a lot of pain just with Gwen’s training alone but all of the were healed when he talks with Krono who encourages him not to give up and continue to be faithful. He endured that kind of training for almost a year where he got numb from all the pain that Gwen was able to inflict on him that even she got surprised about it as well. And one day, Zed showed her that he is no longer capable of feeling the pain that she can do to him.
