Hayden's POV

“What is it?” I asked through the mind-link, steadying my voice.

Alex wasted no time feeding me the situation. It was bad. Really bad. My jaw tightened.

“I’ll alert the pack. Get everyone to safety,” I said.

“Where are you now?”

He dropped his location, and I didn't hesitate.

I threw on a shirt and bolted downstairs.

Calling my house security team together, I quickly filled them in.

“No one leaves this house,” I ordered, flipping the security alarm on. They also sprinted into action.

I closed my eyes and tapped into the pack-link, sending a message across the bond that tied every member to their Alpha.

“Everyone, stay indoors. Lock your doors. Ashwolves are within our pack borders.”

I could hear their panic rippling faintly across the bond, but I shut it down with a surge of Alpha authority.

“Do not step outside, and do not panic. The pack warriors and security team are handling it. Wait for further instructions.”
