He grabbed his phone from the table and approached me, “We caught the person who spread that video of you. Let’s go. It’s a girl, so I can’t leave her in the dungeons until tomorrow for punishment.”

I stiffened. “The video... the same one that-“

“Yes, the same one that almost drove you to kill me.”

“That wasn’t the reason I tried to kill you though,” I muttered under my breath. “You shouldn’t have insulted me.”

Before I could finish my words, he was in my personal space, his intensity palpable. “Sunshine, I can hear you even when you mumble under your breath.”

I furrowed my brows and looked up at him. “Good. I wanted you to hear it anyway. I haven’t let that go yet! And why do you keep calling me that?”

“Sunshine,” I emphasised, my frustration evident. “That’s not my name. In case you’ve forgotten, it’s Milli.”
