ADRIENNE'S POV

I enter the hallway creating a large distance between me and Nick who was apparently still at the parking lot. He obviously couldn't enter yet till the rest of his crew were around.

I walk straight to my locker, keyed in my password before shoving my books into the locker. It was Friday and my first period always started with Literature. I loved literature but hated calculations. I never failed it, but still didn't pass it like my other subjects.

"Hey babe" Aileen greets me while resting on the locker next to mine. She looked stunning as ever. Her blonde curls bouncing behind her. 

It is really amazing how she still looks strong despite what Zack, her ex, did to her. It was the most miserable period of our lives; me, Kathie and Aileen. She was really broken after the breakup, but don't our pains make us stronger than we were before?
