It was lunch period and I was at the cafeteria, seated with Kate and Aileen. Christian had also agreed with Kate to sit with us for lunch along with two other guys- his friends from the basketball team.
Both guys were tall, one a black American and the other, a blonde with hazel eyes. They were good looking and Aileen seemed to have been smitten by them, as she kept smiling to everything they said like a possessed little girl.
I had totally ignored my promise to meet with Alec after Literature class ended and as a result, I've been avoiding him all day but for how long. I just sat there, picking on my French fries as I try to pay attention to the discussion ongoing between Christian and Caleb, the black American.
