“My mother’s crazy,” Kai mutters lowly as he sits on the bed. Meanwhile, Ellyse is busy fixing her luggage. “We can’t do anything about it. It seems like she’s still trying to get us back together,” She replied to him, her back facing him. “And also for Claire’s sake. “Oh! Pardon me, I meant grandchild! Goodness, my head hasn’t been working lately,” Victoria continued on saying. Ellyse’s heart was beating so fast! Her eyes were trained on Kai who didn’t even notice what his mother had said and kept eating as if it was nothing. She was tapping her foot on the floor, anxious about what’s going to happen next. Victoria is obviously hinting her pregnancy. She’s trying to make her uncomfortable and alerted, and she doesn’t like it. What happened to the woman she once knew? The one she treated like her own mother. Where is she now, and who’s this woman sitting across her? “Well anyway, I’ve already booked a beach trip for all of us next week. It’s already planned so you don’t have to worry about anything,” George assured them.
