Ellyse woke up the next day with Claire shaking her and Kai’s body nonstop.

“Mom! Dad! Let’s swim in the pool!” Their villa had a built in swimming pool just outside of the veranda. It was an infinity pool that had the view of the beach from afar.

“Claire…it’s still so early,” Ellyse complained while rubbing her eyes.

“Please! I really want to swim, Mom!” Claire was determined to have both of her parents accompany her to the pool.

“Wait, Claire,” Kai said before sitting up.

Ellyse also followed, yawning and stretching her arms. When Claire saw both of her parents up, she giggled excitedly before hopping off the bed.

“I’ll change into my swimming attire myself!” She declared before quickly leaving the bedroom.

Ellyse only sighed, looking over at Kai who now has his eyes glasses on. He took his phone, scrolling on a few emails and then typing something.

    “Ellyse! Kai, you finally woke up,” Victoria greets them merrily. “Mom,” Ellyse went up to her first to plant a brief kiss om her cheek while Kai greeted his father. “Alright! Come, have breakfast please. We bought you home-cooked meals!” Victoria guided them to the dining area. “By the way, where’s Claire?” George asked from behind. “Oh, well, she’s still asleep dad. She normally wakes up late when it’s the weekends,” She stated while walking. “She’ll probably wake up soon, don’t worry,” Kai assured his parents. “That’s perfect! You know, me and your father went here to talk about her upcoming birthday,” Victoria said. They all sat on the dining area. Indeed, they did bring a lot of food. Most aren’t even breakfast food, it’s like a whole feast! There’s chicken and gravy, stir fried rice, ham, eggs, a soup of some kind and a bed of vegetables laid out.
