Rhyland’s POV

I could hear rough footsteps coming up the stairs, not the ones you’d want to hear. The type of footsteps that let you know you were in a heap of trouble. My eyes cast over to the hallway, seeing as my door was already opened and a fuming Cassius came into view.

“I knew it! I knew you were in it for your fucking self!” I kept my face from showing any emotion, knowing good and well I should’ve known Raven would run to her older brother with this information.
