Ravena's POV

When I eventually took his hand, his fingers closed around mine like he had done it a thousand times before. Like it was nothing. But to me, it wasn’t nothing. It was everything. His hand was warm, strong, grounding. And it pulled me forward when my legs didn’t know what to do.

We walked in silence and as we stepped back toward the heart of the camp, I expected him to release me. But surprisingly he didn’t.
