Chapter 6: My shark !

The man was already losing himself but hearing her sexy voice he felt as if his self-control will vanish soon. Never... His 28 years of self-control seemed like a joke.

He inhaled sharply "Yes, I have needs but that doesn't mean you are obliged to do this. You are my wife and better half," he paused as he looked into her eyes as he added, "So it will be better if we make love for our first time; not just sex."

She was stunned for a moment. Her heartfelt warm but at the same time, she realized it is a pity that she can't eat her fish today as the fish rejected her. What a nice man! It is obvious how badly he is affected by her seduction if you noticed his erection.

'The angel was right after all. He is such a gentleman.' Unknowingly cupid was already aiming an arrow at her heart.

She said "Yeah."

She stood up and went to another side of the bed. Just as she was about to lie down, she noticed a Rubik's cube on the bedside table.

She picked it up as she noticed that it was the Penta mix of the most difficult level. To her, it was a child's play though.

Her thoughts were all occupied by the Rubik's cube. Whereas the man was calming his erratically beating heart. Having never touched a woman, it was all new to him. Further, the one look at women who were swooning over him is enough to make him disgusted.

So, this euphoric feeling, those feverish sensations, it was all new to him. Somewhere, deep inside his heart, he knew that only she could ignite that fire. The moment he saw her on the sea beach, he had felt that connection with her. He was spellbound and yes, he knew it very well.

But suddenly a thought came to his mind. If he could be this flustered then why is she not nervous, not even a bit unless she... Has she done all this before...?

"Have you done this before?" He indifferently asked, ignoring the uncomfortable feeling in his heart.

Unaware of his inner conflicts, she thought he was asking about the Penta mix cube so without any hesitation, she replied "Yes, I have done it many times. You know, it's quite fun."

The man's heart immediately dropped. He didn't say anything else. No, he wasn't angry or disappointed; he felt upset, upset at the thought of her being in another man's arms. It was somehow instinctive.

The girl was too busy to notice these changes as she continued "Hey, you know I used to play it a lot when I was a little kid. Grandpa taught me. But I solved it many times, so I got bored. This one is the latest so it excites me."

He felt something was amiss so he turned around to look at the girl. True enough! She was talking about the Rubik's cube. He watched her cheery expression and his heart warmed up. All his coldness disappeared.

Even if she is not a virgin or she is one, she will still be the same woman who made him drop his important meeting the first time he saw her.

Though it bothered him that another man has seen her shy gaze, her blushing cheeks, and in her most vulnerable states, he decided to dodge that feeling. Even if his mood turned sour, he shrugged it off.

Her past was her past. And right now, she is his wife; only his.

He sighed "It's my sister's. She asked me to teach it to her but I forgot."

She smiled "Your sister must be a cute little kid. I still remember how I used to play it with my best friend during tiffin breaks in school. We used to bunk classes. He was a genius in this."

His lips twitched at the mention of some 'he' but he still reminded himself that she is his wife and no one can snatch her from him.

At the thought of this, his mood brightened "Little cute kid? Mo Jia is 27 years old." He paused as a distance memory flashed in his mind "My junior and I used to play it a lot. She was somewhat two years younger than me.''

Tang Li's mood turned sour. She pursed her lips as she said "My best friend was my first crush ever," she paused and then added "Let's sleep. I have a lot of works tomorrow. And you also have to work on your project."

She turned the lights off and lay down on the bed but the man sat there frozen after the mention of his wife's first crush. Then, he seemed to have recalled something as he sighed. His junior happened to be his first crush. Though her face has become blurry in memory, he certainly remembered the little time spent with her. Maybe this is Karma. But what can he do?

His heart was no longer calmer as he laid down but he couldn't sleep no matter how much he tried. He turned to look at the beautiful girl sleeping beside him. She appeared like a fairy queen with her long hair sprawled all over. Her face looked so peaceful.

But he noticed her frowning occasionally. So he smoothened her frowns with his fingers and decided to do some work since he was unable to sleep.

Just when he was about to wake up, a pair of warm hands wrapped around his waist as she moved closer to him. He thought she was doing this in her sleep and it was unintentional. So, he pushed her away softly, not disturbing her sleep.

Just as he was about to go, she again moved closer to him and trapped him in her soft arms whereas her leg was on his thighs, trapping him. She snuggled closer and closer until her face was buried in his chest.

Before he could push her away, she mumbled in her subconscious state "You feel so safe...You..you must be my safe haven."

Her voice somehow sounded pitiful, like she was afraid of certain things. But her pleading tone got him.

He sighed but just as he was going to hug her back, he recalled something. What if she thinks of him as her crush? He will not give in to her this easily so he asked softly "Tell me who I am to you?"

The girl was in her la-la land as her cozy and handsome shark was running away from her. She tried to catch him but he pushed her away. Then, after flawless planning, she trapped the shark between her arms and legs.

And the shark stopped moving just as she confessed that he felt safe. She looked at the shark who was wearing a blue T-shirt and his skin looked like pearl. His blue eyes were round-round and she heard him ask what he was to her.

Mo Yuhan was anticipating her answer but she didn't reply for a long time. Just as he was about to give up, she moved closer to him and rubbed her face on his arm as she incoherently mumbled "You..are...Mine...All mine! You are big fish..my shark. I abandoned..concubines..for you.! You can't leave..me!"

The man's heart skipped a beat. His heart warmed up as he flashed her a wide smile which made his face appear otherworldly. If only Tang Li was awake now, she would have pounced on him.

The man hugged her tightly as she snuggled closer to him before he whispered, "En, not leaving!"

That was the most peaceful sleep for both of them as they slept for a long time. And that was the first time President Mo was sleeping till past 8 o'clock. Whereas President Tang woke up after 7:00 am. Both of them had never slept until this late.

When Tang Li opened her eyes, she immediately felt a pair of strong arms wrapped around her. And she noticed how she was clinging to the man like a koala.

She recalled her dream and her eyes turned wide as realization dawned upon her; it seems like she has said and done those things in reality.
