Chapter 7: Want to lock her up

She was so embarrassed to face him now! But the way he said he will not leave somehow made her feel warm.

Her fingers inched closer as she softly caressed the man to not disturb his sleep while slowly getting out of the bed.

She stuffed the softest pillow in his arms the moment he frowned.

Little did she know that Mo Yuhan never slept like this before. But her scent was like a drug to him. And he couldn't help but drown himself in her chocolaty scent.

After showering, she put on a black silk robe and went to the kitchen, and prepared breakfast for her husband. She never felt like cooking before and this would be the first time she wanted to cook and that too for him.

Tang Li had already asked her secretary to send her outfit with her driver since she hadn't had time to shift her things to the Grace villa.

The word 'home' instantly brightened her mood, her lips slightly tilted up as she entered the room to see if the man was awake.

The sound of running water was coming from the bathroom so she concluded that he must be showering.

Just at this time, her driver called her since the security was not letting him come inside. She called the security guards informing him to let him inside.

After taking her outfit from the old man, she walked inside her walk-in closet to get changed.

When Mo Yuhan came out of the shower wearing a bathrobe, the first thing he noticed was a stunning woman sitting on the balcony with a laptop on her lap. And this woman happened to be none other than his wife.

She looked breathtaking donned in the burgundy colored pants which reached her ankle with a black blouse combined with burgundy blazers. There was no makeup on her face but she has applied a baby pink lip gloss on her lips which complimented her skin tone. Her diamond-studded earrings were something he felt he has seen it somewhere but he couldn't pinpoint it.

She was doing her work seriously and he was simply mesmerized. Her naturally wavy black hair was straightened and was tied in a high ponytail made her tiny face appear cuter yet mature. Her collarbones were sharp and sexy. Then his gaze wandered off to her ankles. She was wearing maroon stilettos and on her left leg sat an anklet which appeared to be in a set with her earring.

His heart started beating so fast that he felt as if he could practically hear his heartbeats.

Tang Li noticed his presence as she turned around to see the man wearing a black robe. His slightly visible abs made her gulp. Water was dripping from his wet hair as his bangs were lying just above his eyebrows. His eyes looked at her as if they want to swallow her alive.

She moved closer to him as they stood in front of each other. Before she could say anything, the man caressed her cheeks, lowered his head, dipped in for a kiss. His left hand wrapped around her waist as he pulled her closer while his another held the back of her head.

His sleek tongue nibbled her lips, before making its way inside her mouth... He licked her lips as if she was a precious treasure to him making her feel butterflies in her stomach. He savored the flavor she possessed as if there was no tomorrow. Both of them parted, panting heavily.

"My wife is so beautiful that I want to lock her at home. I don't want others to lay their eyes on you."

Tang Li stood there rooted as she felt as if a strong bolt of lightning had just struck her.

'My wife? Lock her at home?' These words kept replaying in her mind like a broken tape recorder and her eyes glittered like a love-struck fool. He was like the black hole sucking her in him.

"You're handsome too," She calmly said, despite her racing heartbeats, before adding, "Come let's eat the breakfast I made for you."

She dragged him with her as they went to the dining table which was filled with American breakfast served on it.

''You made this? You never told me that you know how to cook?" Mo Yuhan asked. He literally forgot that they just met yesterday.

Sometimes we spend our whole lives with people who feel like strangers in the end yet there are times when you meet a stranger who makes you feel like you've always known them.

"I know how to cook but this is my first-time cooking because I never liked doing this before. You never asked and we only met yesterday so there are many things we don't know about each other including our names," she replied.

"Then, you don't need to cook in the future. I'll cook for both of us," he said.

She smiled "I didn't like cooking before but I wanted to cook for you. Tell me how is it?"

The man's azure eyes were filled with warmth as he took a bite of everything she prepared "Mm... Not bad!"

"I didn't know what you like so I cooked this," Though she didn't know much about his likes and dislikes, she was aware of how stingy he was with his words. So, his 'not bad' obviously meant that he liked it.

He paused "Anything you want to know about me? "

"Umm...Tell me your name." she paused as she said "Well, only if you want to. I won't force you."

"Yuhan...."

She interrupted him before he could finish "Do you remember the childhood crush I mentioned? He also has the same name."

Mo Yuhan's mood turned sour almost immediately; he wanted her undivided attention on himself. Being the black-bellied person he is, he deliberately declared "My name is Mo Yuhan."

Tang Li smiled as she said "Ohh. That's great...."

Her smile froze as she looked at him in disbelief with her mouth open and eyes wide in shock.

Mo Yuhan just shrugged.

Finally, after taking some deep breaths, Tang Li calmed herself "Isn't Mo Yuhan the CEO of Mo Empires?"

Mo Yuhan had a serious expression on his face as he said "Yes, that's me."

He inwardly smirked to himself for having all her attention him.

Tang Li choked on the water that she just drank as she started coughing profusely. Mo Yuhan stood up from his chair and walked towards her before patting her back. After taking some deep breaths, she finally calmed down.

"You mean to say that I accidentally married a CEO? And that too to the CEO of Mo Empires? "

He had a calm expression on his face as he replied "Yes"

Tang Li opened her mouth and then closed it just like a fish. After a long while, she took a deep breath as she calmly spoke up "How can you marry a random girl? What if I am an assassin sent by your enemies? What if I am too ordinary for your status? What if your family won't accept me and my position as your wife becomes a threat to your position as the CEO? How can you just marry me? You are the Crown Prince because Mo's are royalties!"

Mo Yuhan was ever so calm as he replied "Why can't I marry you? Don't I deserve you?" He paused before adding "I don't follow all those royalty rules. You are the only one for me and I trust you."

The man was stingy with his words as always yet he touched the softest spot of her heart with them.

Tang Li pursed her lips as her eyes turned red.

'You are the only one for me and I trust you.' This sentence rang in her heart again and again. She moved forward and pounced on the man as she hugged him tightly "I will never let you down, Yuhan. I will treasure your trust forever."

Previously, she didn't tell him about her identity for two reasons. First, it was fun doing it like this. Secondly, her old man can't claim later that the man married her for money.

She somehow trusted that Mo Yuhan will not disappoint her. Now that he threw his identity on her as a big sack of shock, she will surprise him in the same way in the upcoming meeting.

He placed a feathery kiss on her forehead.

Tang Li smiled as she said, "Go get ready and I will drop you on my way to the office."

The man couldn't bring himself to reject his baby girl so he could only nod his head before walking upstairs.

After getting ready for office, the scene that welcomed Mo Yuhan was his secretary praising his wife, "You are the most beautiful woman I have ever seen, Young Mistress."

He pursed his lips before walking towards her. She held his arms before praising the man, "You know hubby, you just look like you were destined to be mine." Then, her eyes wandered off to the burgundy-colored handkerchief in his front suit pocket as she chuckled, "Wow, this goes with my outfit. Matching-matching! ''

''En. Anything for you," The man was too arrogant to admit how much he had searched for something of this color so that they can complement each other even more and at last he got this handkerchief. Seems like his wardrobe needs to be refreshed with burgundy shades of everything.

A certain secretary was dying from dog food which was forcefully fed as he quickly greeted the man, "Presid...Sir"

No matter what, Liu Jiang was somewhat dissatisfied with how much importance Mo Yuhan placed on his wife because it was not suitable for his position of Crown Prince. For an enigmatic and prestigious person like him, women should be disposable and that can be easily replaced lest his enemies get hold of his weakness.

But Liu Jiang didn't dare to show such thoughts on his face. He could only take it slow. President Mo seemed to be bewitched by the woman at present, so he could only brainwash him slowly.

He was but a temporary secretary who was here to get trained. So, he didn't find it necessary to be meddlesome though it was rather irritating sometimes. He would not get his President's position slipping out of his hand because of a woman.

Before Mo Yuhan could say anything, Tang Li narrowed her eyes, "What sir? Weren't you going to address him as President Mo?"
