Chapter 26: The Make-up
Cassy's Perspective
I was at my co-worker's house, she invited me to help her pick her dress, but she was just asking about Drake.
"So, how is your date with that handsome boy, last night?" My co-worker, Zhane, asked me and I sighed.
"We are not dating, he is my friend," I retorted. And she rolled her eyes, grinning at me. "Really, but I think you are more than that! Come 'on, Cassy! I can hide secrets," she whispered and I didn't know if I was supposed to laugh at her or felt sad to remember Drake already cut our relationship.
"I have no secret to tell you, Zhane, I swear, we're just friends!" I answered plainly and she tickled me at my stomach.
