** 2 weeks later **Athena POVToday is the birthday of the gems of the dumpster, the cherry on the trash cake, the most horrible human beings alive. Yes - it’s the shit stains birthday.Hooray, and I hope they rot in hell.The pack has been absolute chaos for the past 2 weeks. So much so, that one would almost think the Lycan king himself is visiting the pack. I wonder what type of man the king is, actually. One would hope he is fair and just, with all the power he possesses. But I fear he is just as conceited and bad as the rest of the Alphas. Athena POVWe spend another 10 minutes talking about my past. I hate talking about it, but it feels kind of… nice to be able to tell Millie. It helps that she is an open book, so I am able to read what she thinks with everything I tell her. And I can tell she doesn’t think less of me. Thank the goddess. As we are walking downstairs, Millie asks a question that has been plaguing my mind as well. I can’t seem to find an answer to it.“So, how come your mom doesn’t just mind link you?
